Wow what a lovely little fish and chip shop. Everything is so fresh from the flaky hake to their slap chips and portuguese rolls. I bought fish and chips and couldn't finish it and it still tasted amazing the next day. Very happy to have this takeaway near to my house.

Would give a 0 if there was. My parents ordered and specified no batter, butter or flour. But the lady did not listen properly.We called twice and the owner didn't even apologize just blamed us and rudely said let me educate you. Always supported this shop until now. Absolutely disgusting service and customer care especially when a customer has an allergy. Owner - get management skills lessons!

Truly disappointed with my latest order today. Rubbery and not crispy battered fish and soggy chips as well as over seasoned or salty calamari. My local fish and chips shop is no longer the best. I'm led to believe there's a change in ownership, could be the reason for the drop in overall quality.

Massive portions, amazing batter, friendly staff. Best to call ahead and collect it hot and ready. Next to Spar means you can sort out some beverages in the same trip.

Oh my Hat! Fish AND the chips are cooked perfectly! The new owners deserve a lot of praise. The quality and freshness remains consistent even now after 3rd purchase. Love it!

The worst food I've ever bought from a fisheries. I would most definitely never return. Will never recommend this establishment to anybody. Total waste of my money.

Another fantastic meal on Jan 29th . Two fabulous, freshly cooked hake with chips for R 110. Excellent value .Very impressive that the cashier sanitisers the card machine after every transaction.Excellent service . Freshly cooked . Hot and tasty hake and chips . Highly recommended.

We placed our order and waited in the queue for our number to be called. As the orders was completed our number was skipped so I enquired and then was communicated that our fish was used for another order and they had to start with our order again. Having waited a significant time already we eventually received our order. Unfortunately when we got home the food was below par. The chips were not “slap” it was over cooked. The fish was cooked but the dough was so think and uncooked in sections. It was not a enjoyable meal at all.In response to the owner:First of all, HOW can I give you a chance to rectify what happened before writing a review if you were already closed, and only open 9 January 2023 again? Then when should I have given you a heads-up when you were closed already?Other than that, how were we supposed to know that you were serving us UNDERCOOKED fried fish (raw, thick batter) and burnt chips (the oil was too hot, so the chips were burnt crisp, but still some were raw/undercooked inside), until we were home and opened it and wanted to eat it? Again by then your shop was closed.It was already bad that our order was given to someone else and we had to wait, but then at least make sure our order is made perfect, to make up for the waiting time in the first place. Clearly the order was then rushed, leading to sub-par, undercooked battered fish and overcooked/burnt chips.There is a reason why there's a review option. Your type of response is not appreciated.
