Called 20 mins before to book an appointment and got told they had space. After arriving they don’t have any space and quickly grabbed our dog to take to the back. First of all they handled the dog with such aggression so much so he was shaking. There were 5 dogs shoved into one rusted cage, without any water or food. Another groomer was holding one of the dogs by the neck so much so that he his skin was bright red. After seeing all of this, and the fact that the main “reception” guy, decided to go and pick up my dog by the scruff of his neck and give him back to me. After being there for 5 minutes you can see they don’t take the best interest of the dog what so ever. For all you dog lovers please don’t take your pets here!

Maurice Gabriel has been grooming my dogs for nearly 30 years. I am extremely satisfied both with the high quality of grooming, but also the level of genuine care and concern by Maurice, Wayne and the rest of the crew. i would thoroughly recomend Maurice and the team from Paws.

Dog came back a bit traumatized. For R350, she came home still wet as they didn't blow dry her, still shedding a ton of hair as she wasn't dried or de-shed, and with a very uneven shave. Need to send her in elsewhere to de-shed properly and shape the bad cut.

This is the second time we've taken out dogs. The first time the one that gets shaved came back with razor burn patches. Sadly not a great experience.I thought I would give it another try today. Called the owner before taking my dogs to ask if the parlour is affected by loadshedding. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem. However when we dropped the dogs off we were told to collect them before loadshedding started - I immediately worried that this was going to mean a rush job on the dogs. l took my two dogs in. Gave very clear instructions on how long the one should be shaved, as winter is coming I didn't want her shaved completely short. When we fetched the dogs, she had been fully shaved completely short. Razor burns again. My other dog had a nail clipped so deep into the nail bed that it's a bleeding raw open mess. My poor dog, I cannot begin to imagine how painful it must be. I will never ever take my dogs here again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.
