My wife and I spent four days in the Ndumo and St Lucia area birdwatching with Themba, and those days were some of the best of our month-long trip to South Africa.Themba is a fantastic guide. My wife and I went on a guided bird tour with Themba a number of years ago during our honeymoon. Themba is extremely knowledgeable of birds and the area. With his help we were able to locate and observe a number of the species we had hoped to see. His tours are also affordable. Well worth making use of his services.

The bird walk was a fantastic experience. We managed to see lots and lots of birds and other creatures too. Vuzi is an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We loved it.

I came across Themba's birding tours quite randomly while scanning over google maps looking for St Lucia accommodation. I only had a morning to spend in the town so went on one of his guided tours for a few hours - he was really knowledgeable and showed us loads of new birds (which might say more about me than him). In any case, a great guy and good value-for-money birding experience.

Themba's Birding tours are highly recommended. My family of 4 had a thoroughly enjoyable 2.5 hour birding walk in St Lucia this morning. Themba is extremely knowledgeable and professional and we saw a great variety of birds as well as mammals. We'll definitely be going on birding walks with Themba Birding tours again.
