Dis-Chem Pharmacy The Reef - Albemarle Gardens

I was there lunch time but experienced this before. The que to pay is long and there are only two cashiers working, the others are standing in front of the windows in the sun. They can see customers are building up but they would rather chat. Why does Dischem employ so many cashiers if more than half does nothing?

Awful service. Lazy clinic staff. They show all day every day over christmas time as fully booked while they are not busy at all but it makes their days more relaxed.

Dispensary is insanely slow. Be prepared to wait at least a hour.

I like to support my local branch of Dischem, The Reef. But, when I go there for advertised cologne promotion only to be told that the stock on promotion has been moved to bigger branches, it makes me question the logic and reason behind this. I have surmised that Dischem is not here for customer service but for profit. Management decides that The Reef is not worthy of stocking high end cologne, and rather move the stock to Bedford Centre where more traffic will definitely guarantee the sale of their cologne promotion. This poor decision making!

The staff manage to ignore you and walk away instead of helping. It's the Dischem with the worst customer care I have ever been. Staff totally unhelpful on several occasions.

Dischem at The Reef is a pleasure to shop in. Always find what I need. Staff friendly and helpful.I have a back problem and can'twalk long distances or stand for long periods. Going to the pharmacist is a pleasure - seating available....but then the queue's to pay. Suggest a pensioners queue and 5 items or less checkout.

The clinic sister is thorough, attentive and makes you feel comfortable. Assisted me with my baby's immunization.

It's one of the better Dis-Chems I've been to, it's nicely sized with good selections of all products in most areas.The cashier's are always friendly, but the floor staff is often nowhere to be found.The pharmacy is a little on the slower side, but generally helpful and have what you'll need

I went to Dischem The Reef yesterday to get my prescription medication as well as buying some facial masks. Today I received a call from the manager asking me if I took one of the masks out of the packaging. He also said that if I did I should pay for it . According to the CCTV I was the last person at the mask section. They didn’t see me taking one from the packaging. Why would I buy 3 masks and steal one! I have never felt so humiliated in my whole life. They should rather get their staff to work and stop chatting to one another and get off their phones. Where was the security? They can’t just assume that I stole a mask because I bought some. I will never shop at Dischem again and will remove all my business from them.
