Worst experience of my dental existence. Went to get a tooth repaired, paid. 3 days later I was in agony and no one could help as it was a weekend. Went back and then it was decided root canal was needed. So now I had paid for the original work and a root canal. Couple of months later, I start to experience pain in the same tooth. Went to a dentist (different) and he did x-rays. Firstly said one of the worst root canals he has seen. Secondly he asked a a disturbing question: did your dentist tell you a file may have broken off?". In the x-ray was appears to be piece of a dental file at the base of my root canal.Now I am still in pain yet again.Give this institution a miss. Would not send my horse here."

Excellent service, and care, thanks ladies, what a lovely experience, not something one often says about root canal treatment. Will see you soon for my follow up consultation and treatment. Think I've found my new dentists - much appreciated. Can recommend anyone for good overall service and care.

2 or so months later going to this dentist has made my teeth worse, the two holes they left has caused alot of pain and problems, after trying to contact them I've still gotten no help, but they have been more than happy to just take my money and not take any responsibility for their terrible work.I went to get some fillings done and was left with two holes in the teeth that the filling was done between, it's been extremely annoying having food get stuck there whenever I eat and at the same time it causes alot of pain. They charged me alot of money for work that wasn't done well and to make it worse I tried to contact them to get it sorted out before posting this but I have not gotten any response from them. I looked at the reviews before coming here and thought that even if I had to pay a bit extra to get everything sorted out properly it would be worth it, but I was very wrong and have been left with more problems than before.

Have only been once - after years of avoiding dentists and their typical moans and abrasiveness - words and touch.I was pleasantly surprised to have a different experience with the care and up-to-date knowledge and a holistic approach to the well-being of oral care.Its not cheap but no good quality service should be.Will go back to my follow-ups and cleans without fear and worry.

This is by far the best dentist! You feel so welcome as soon as you enter the building with the kind receptionist. Dr. Oren was extremely professional and kind and made me feel at ease at all times. I was given such great advice and even a follow up call the next day to see how I'm doing. Thank you Smileway for the best first appointment ever! So don't to earth and extremely friendly. Brilliant dentistry practice, polite, sensitive and understanding, plus affordable and I was given options in which the dentist made sure I was aware of all the costs of every process and procedure before she did anything so I could make the best decision for my teeth with my current financial situation. Will definitely be returning to them in the future!!

Visited Denticare in March for sensitivity with my molar after a piece broke off. Dr Nortan was great, she did a consult and x rays and explained that it was infected and I would need antibiotics to clear it before working on the tooth due to the pain I would experience and difficulties with working with infection. She charged a minimal consultant fee and I returned a week later. Infection did not clear completely so I needed a few extra injections and antibiotics injection on the tooth to assist with the numbing and to work on the tooth and start the root canal, unfortunately it was a tricky situation and she was unable to complete the procedure on the day due to my infection. I returned a third time to complete the root canal and received a good filling. For all three consults, it was around R5k in total which I hear is reasonable as it was my first time doing a root canal. Dr Nortan was great, she explained every step in detail, was patient with all my questions and monitored my body language and comfort levels throughout all the consults. It was abit frustrating to keep going back, but I understood the reasoning and trusted her expertise. So far so good with the filling, and I have the option to go back for a crown fitting if I want to. Would highly recommend Dr Nortan.

Having seen the same dentist for 15 years I was petrified, especially considering the first appointment was to complete my root canal treatment!Dr Jordaan and her assistant were patient, kind and caring.They even managed to make me laugh in my state! The procedure was explained throughout and best yet COMPLETELY painless. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Jordaan and the Smileway team to anyone.Dr Jordaan you have a patient for life or for as long as you will have me!:)THANK YOU
