This is one of the worst run Pick n Pay's I have ever... Ever single time I go there, there is no shopping baskets and massively long ques with only 2 or 3 till points open.The managerial staff has a very relaxed attitude and doesnt seem to want to help the people in the shop.I won't recommend this place to anyone.

This is terrible service you can expect at PnP in Cavendish. Avoid this store if you want to be treated as a customer and not as a burden to the staff. When you ask why are the tills closed when you have so many customers in the store You get a sense of why are you bothering us with your purchases - we don't need you""

Avoid. Go to pnp newlands instead. They hide the items that are on special, the cashiers have the strangest attitude and oh yeah... They have a giant RAT livng under the chicken freezer.

Avoid this pnp. The staff are very unhelpful and when items are marked down closer to the sell by date,the staff take these items and hide them away till the end of the day so they can keep them for themselves. I've seen it. And they also keep a giant rat under their meat freezers, I've only seen 1, there's probably more...

I only ever shop here in emergencies or when something isn't available at Woolworths. Their meat is not the freshest and the queues are always super long. The quality of PnPs in South Africa is a sad state of affairs.

No stars would be appropriate. Every single day there are queues for days here. Takes a good 15 min standing in these queues. When you get to the front the staff attitude is just as bad.

Putting one star because I HAVE to put one to post this. I bought a precooked single meal - macaroni and cheese this afternoon and I can't have it for dinner because it has already gone off! On the same day! I live across the street from Cavendish. I didn't make any pit stops - I went to the shop and back. I put it in the fridge immediately after getting home so clearly it was already off when I bought it. The smell of it as it was coming out of the microwave was very offputting and it is not edible. It's completely gone off. This is unacceptable!

My office is really close to Cavendish so my only grocery store option is Pick n Pay and Woolworths. I will not set foot again in Pick n Pay the lines are always too long, not enough cashiers en there is NEVER any baskets!

This is one of the better Pick n Pay stores and from the entrance, the experience was pleasant and efficient.The store is brightly lit which is important given its location on the lower ground floor.The fresh fruit was well-displayed though there was evidence of pilfering regarding some of the fruit containers.Staff were friendly and helpful in directing customers who were somewhat unfamiliar with the store layout.It is not a good look that there were no packers at the tills or that some cashiers had no chairs.Despite that, there was no wait at checkout.
