Standard Bank Sunnypark

I had gone there to have my finger prints scanned for criminal check from my company. I don't know if this was a coincidence but it was a struggle...took about +15min standing just retrying the fingers because the lady's computer system was refusing to respond ...is totally not her fault but is something that can be fixed in a matter of urgency because in peak times this act can really cause frustrations and Chaos.

I am sick and tired off this branch it's the worst I've been to since infinity. Their service is the worst, let's not even talk about their ATMs it's very slow and the line I very long how can there only be two atms in the whole of sunnyside this is really bad this branch *MUST* CLOSE DOWN WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

On the pics attached even though it's not clear, it's the young lady that works at the front desk (reception), Picture Taken on sat 21.05.2022. On arrival i tried to get in but the doors were electronically locked, even though it seemed as though they were still open,this was just after 11am and standard bank website says that this branch closes at 1pm on Saturday. Instead of this lady attending to me she's busy making a mockery out of me together with her colleague (security guard) standing with her by the front desk.I've never experienced such unprofessionalism. The least they could have done was to come tell me that they are closed, but they stood there and looked at me like I'm crazy,that time i only went to collect my card that was delivered to them more than a month ago. I don't even have a reason to carry on banking with Std because the only thing they offer is bad experience, particularly this Sunnypark branch

I checked on the internet if u have opened since its holiday 16nth Dec it said open till 3:30 but when I went to the branch it was closed. Please get ur facts ryt. Someone is busy using my card for tall gate. I checked the statement

Poorest, horrible service worst service ever!! Slow in everything.. just a mere card collection, ddnt even receive a notification sms for me to collect my card, u wait till you forget why you are there!!

Like they don’t have deposit ATMs , you call their head offices they do nothing about , they recently renovated the ATMs but they only make one deposit machine and there’s so many people in Sunnyside . Long lines and wow they are gonna lose customers if they don’t change.

The use of venercular in this establishment will make you wonder if this bank is only for sotho/sepedi speaking people. I am so disappointed that my wife and I wer treated in a most uncomfortable way by the lady who is at the reception Thursday 11 September 12:45. The lady spoke in sepedi/sotho throughout fortunately we could relate to some of the words. Very rude woman who really wanted to prove that she will never speak in English being the standard moderm of communication in the whole world. Proper training is needed I suggest.
