Absolutely love this nature conservation area. Beautifully located in the heart of Marina Da Gama. About a 4km walk all around the edge. Many diffeeentdifferent paths and the beautiful little bird spotting hut on the edge of the conservation. Unfortunately litter from the muizenberg area gets washed up on the shores of the conservation, thus endangering the bird species in the park and surrounding areas. Beautiful for a daytime, morning or sunset walk. Also it is a secured location and is protected by security.

I didn't know something like this existed so close to Cape Town Citybowl. It's a large park with beautiful views, lots of birds, water and houses on the marina.

It's a lovely park for a walk to get away from the heavy urban environment or to sit and watch the birds to sunset.The big advantage of this island is that it's close to a residential area, but when you're walking, it's very pleasant.Unfortunately, there were no available toilets and parking is difficult.Authorities could also do more to grant accessibility to wheelchair users.

A great place to go for a walk and clear your mind. It's pet friendly so you can take your dog's with you. Unfortunately no ablution facilities are available.

Glorious space to walk, meditate, take the dogs (on leash, but there is now on off-leash area which is new)

Great spot for a short stroll, or to chill in the bird hide. Only one entrance, and gates close around sunset so make sure you are off before or you may get trapped.

What a wonderful experience. Enjoying the outdoors, bird life and some small wild animals. Beautiful view of the mountains.

My absolute love, an oasis of nature to walk in, God's creation... Lady, doggio and I loving our walks and the peeps, meetings... Fabulous, kind, loving... Stunningly, beautiful... We saw our first Otter!!
