Had a great time here! Excellent food (Ribs and Boboti as well as the apple crumble and chocolate volcano - all were absolutely delicious!) And the staff was very friendly! Can only recommend!

This restaurant is not worth visiting, the fish was supposed to be fresh, it was definitely not fresh, super dry with no flavor. The calamari was horrible and chewy in some parts and styrofoam like in other parts, I’ve never experienced that before. To be on the ocean and eat seafood like that is a huge shame. The service was non existent and there’s random stuff all over the restaurant like hand lotions and boxes of stuff that need to be unpacked. Don’t bother

We stopped by on a cold and rainy day and got a table in front of the fireplace. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The bobotie with rice (R125) was delicious. The service was good. I can recommend this pub!

Really great food!! Probably the best meal in Africa so far, and we have had some good ones! The garlic snails with cheese were delicious, we should have each had our own instead of sharing. The ostrich fillet cooked medium-rare was amazing! So tender and tasty it was really a fantastic treat! The warm fire added a nice ambiance to the chilly winter evening!

We we’re excited to try this spot as they are right on the ocean at the southern most point of Africa. There are mentions on the menu like fish from our 2 oceans which makes you think the quality will be good. There is a sign ‘locally caught’ and on the menu the line fish is ‘never frozen’.There was one kind of fish of the day available so we asked where that was from, turns out it was from CapeTown! Red flags raised. The fish was old, strange textures and overall not enjoyable at all. The best part of the dish were the cooked vegetables which were very good!We ordered falafel as a safe bet and it was fine, nothing special. OK for what is it.An order of calamari as a side was super tough, not fresh, not good batter and after eating some left us worrying if we will be sick afterwards.A 2 star is a touch harsh as I’d rate it 2.5. Such a shame considering the location and after amazing food in SA this is a massive let down. I think higher star rating is due to the pub section inside. Avoid the food as the take away fish and chip shop is 1000x better.

Good food and service. Steak was good but not great. My wife liked the beef curry very much (though it was a little spicy for her).
