I had an oddly different experience to the other reviewers. Not at all punctual or efficient, destructive to my property (broke more than they fixed) and dishonest with the finances. I was so surprised by this encounter: I have not come across anything like this before, and am uncertain how to review it kindly but honestly. Would have to caution anyone considering using them, though.And to be clear (update post-review response), things just got worse.

This company need to be closed down. And it’s a disgrace that they are on insurance company’s panel. You would think that insurance companies will make use of qualified plumbers. For 6 months this people have put me through hell. After they replaced my geyser, I had to replace the pump, valves and controller on my geyser at my expense. Not to mention my entire ceiling that needed to be replaced because of all the damage caused by leakages.After some research I have found that the plumbers that replaced my geyser was not qualified nor registered.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Came out to assess a leak for insurance, received an sms No Repairs Done as it was a Overflows - Drip Tray fault" Called these guys and asked why they sent this report

On the 13th September Plumb Guarantee replaced my geyser. The day afterwards there was air in the hot water. I was hoping it would go away, as the geyser was new. It didn't.On the 26th October I phoned them and they promised to call me back, but never did. I e-mailed them the 28th October and they advised they would need to come and inspect the geyser and the call out fee would be R825.The installation is only 6 weeks old and the issue was there since day one, but they refuse to come back and fix the problem. Either they installed it incorrectly or they installed a faulty geyser, regardless you need to pay the R825.Ironic that their name has guarantee in it, but their work is not guaranteed.If your insurance company recommends Plumb Guarantee, do yourself a favor and request another plumbing company. Once they leave the site, you are on your own, no guarantees.

Such a shame that this is the quality of workmanship and professionalism that is allowed in a plumbing company. 4 leaks after a geyser replacement and roof tiles not re-installed correctly with a bad attitude. Can't believe my insurance use these guys.

WARNING!!! If you're reading reviews whether or not to use Plumbguarentee Stellenbosch, DO NOT!!! Something on my geysers broke, they came out and said it was FOUR (4)different parts and wanted to charge me R 7,700 for parts I can buy for R2,500. But how can 4 parts break at the same time. I got another plumber and the faulty part was something completely different. Not even one of those 4 parts! And these guys want 80% deposit BEFORE even showing up. You have been warned!

When your workers cause damage to a client's property when undertaking repairs one would expect that you would consider this as an urgent matter to resolve. Dropping a hammer onto a tiled floor is careless. To not attend to this damage timeously shows a distinct lack of concern towards your clients.

What wonderful service! Our geyser burst and within a day Lucky from PlumbGuarantee and his team were on site, they replaced the geyser, cleaned and tided up beautifully once they were finished with the installation. The warranty was explained and all the relevant paperwork handed over. I absolutely recommend them
