I did the fudge pairing with Gin... wow! The biltong one looked good as well. The vibe and service was also good and needed up having a few more drinks. Well worth checking in!

Strangest worst service ever??!! The most significant concern is the dishonest feedback during the experience. With 8 pax at table, we received 1st meal after very very long wait, about 20 minutes later the 2nd, 10 minutes later the 3rd and very long wait for the next….close to 2 hours. During this process the feedback was in hindsight stalling techniques to mask the fact small kitchen cannot cope and they ran out of ingredients ie cheese. “We had to rush across town to buy cheese”. Really???!!!!

One star for the friendly barman and the runner who was sent to serve us. She tried her best with the little knowledge she had. Waitresses were just standing there waiting for white customers. The place is lovely we enjoyed the wines and the cheese platter. If you are black, I do not recommend this place as you will PRACTICALLY be invisible. They ran out to mince yet 3 menu items of their small menu contain mince. I should have turned back when i went to ask about the wine tasting and was welcomed by very arrogant waiters who were on their phones, but thought i should give it a try. Place has a lot of potential, but the staff is absolutely horrendous.

We visited the venue today, beautiful setting but the service was terrible. We are patient people but we waited 40min before we were served and waited another 90min before we received our order. I went inside 3 times to ask the waiter if he can at least bring us something to drink we ordered earlier but received an answer We are understaffed and we had to wait". We will not visit Houtbosch Wine & Craft again."

Was nice. Just too many people today but it was expected to be busy. Otherwise, it was nice. Like the setup.

They offer quite a variety of pairings at such a reasonable price. It's a local winery and their Moscato is absolutely divine. Everyone is friendly and informed and it was a great time.

The fact that Houtbosch only brews one of their own craft beers was a little underwhelming. Then again, the name of the place does not contain Craft Brewery".Craft beers on tap include CBC Lager and CBC Raspberry Weiss. CBC Lager is always a winner when one craves a nice craft beer.Wine tasting was nice
