Planet Fitness Queenswood

If you want a gym where the aircon or steamrooms work, or at least is fixed in less than 3 months after it has broken, this is NOT the gym for you.Generally, the gym is clean, and the equipment is somewhat maintained. Overall did not have a positive experience, and reporting issues to management does not solve any issues.

I visited Queenswood today and would like to share my experience with a reception staff member, Tristian. All the staff are friendly, but Tristian dealt with an inquiry very professionally and in a courteous manner. In general, I find the staff at Queenswood far more friendlier than other branches. Thanks to you all.

The people are friendly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. In the early mornings and in the evenings, it's quite busy. The parking can be challenging sometimes, but overall, it's a great gym experience.

Just don’t waste your time with this branch. The aircon is almost off daily due to load shedding. There is almost no ventilation on the second floor where you’ll do cardio. And if there is load shedding more than half of the machines are off. One would think that Planet Fitness would have the sense to fix this problem, or at least install some windows one could open in order to breathe. It’s really bad.Furthermore, the customer service is not that great. It’s been months since I “activated my Discovery Vitality”. Now I have learned that I had to pay an activation fee, which no one had told me was necessary and no one even followed up with me after months of paying more than double I would pay with Vitality activated. Good for business, bad for customer experience. I did follow up with the manager, André, a few months ago regarding the matter and he 1. assured that he’ll fix the problem and 2. also failed to mention the activation fee. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership today.

Planet Fitness Queenswood has provided me with the best fitness training so far. The facilities are kept spotless and the machinery in the gym is world-class. My favourite part is relaxing in their steam rooms after a good long exercise session.

Clean and great equipment, overcrowded and absolutely no space for parking.Planet, please cap your membership numbers and stop chasing quantities, the days where one could train at 5am or 5pm and do your full workouts in a planet fitness are gone.Also, please send a strong email to your landlord about the parking crisus here.

Overall not a bad gym. Equipment is in mostly usuable condition and staff are usually very friendly.We had one negative experience with a guy who works there. He came up to us, when we just finished packing our weights away, and rudely ordered us to pack away weights that other people used. Would be fine if he just said please or asked, but he just was instead very rude and demanding.

Horrible experience with my belongings. I forgot shoes in the locker and when I returned the was no sign of them. Staff did not even try and help out or at least question the people who clear out the lockers daily. Clearly not a big issue to them that member's belongings can go missing and no one can account for it

I am a member by this Gym and let me tell you about the Great facilities !they have everything and everything and steam rooms.Let me not forget to mention how Awesome the staff is !

The gym is disability friendly and there is no problem to attend with a guide dog. Gym is well maintained and clean. Nice vibe and at times can be VERY busy. The scale that can give you a whole body reading is a nice touch for tracking results.
