Being a wedding planner it is always so difficult to find a venue that is helpful and easy going. Cranko's Creek was a planners dream, Heather helped all the way for the months of planning asking questions even going as far to make a chariot" for the bride to be taken down to the beautiful outside wedding. Owner went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Room we stayed in didn't have aircon but there are rooms with air-conditioning

We recently celebrated a 60th Birthday Celebration at Crankos Creek. We were blown away......The themed party was so well thought out!! Best party we have been to in a very long time. The party venue and grounds are outstanding. We definitely will recommend Crankos Creek to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday in a natural environment or using it as a party venue. They have such a quaint little chapel on their property as well The friendly and accommodating hosts, as well as the 5 star party experience, made the long weekend memorable in many ways.

Fairytale WeddingFirstly I want to thank Heather and Mark for their hospitality. They have been the most incredible hosts. This is the most value for money wedding venue you can ever find in the lovweld. The venue includes a stunning bridal room, a breath taking chapel, a spectacular reception venue and a magical wine cellar where lunch was served for the bridal party. This is a perfect weekend wedding destination, with a sparkling blue pool along with stunning braai facilities with a kitchen with everything you need for a braai. From arriving till departure we have not noticed once any loadshedding they have solar and a generator what a stress-free experience. Food was delishious. Heather made sure the day was super perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for her.The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Thanks again for making our day special....

Very disappointed in general. My daughter and new son-in-law had their wedding there, the accommodation for the money we paid was very poor in the one bedroom there were two double beds where does two couples share a room? We booked for 3 room only got two. The breakfast was very poor 150.00 a person which at tops would have cost R80.00 served cold. My daughter and son-in-law slept in a tent although they paid for a room. No Honeymoon suite . The food at the wedding it's self was served in small dishes and most people never got to eat as there was not enough, also served cold. I would never recommend anyone wanting to go to this venue. Totally dissapointed

We attended a themed 60th birthday party at Crankos Creek last week. The decor was stunning; the music and catering were excellent. Hosts, Heather and Mark Cranko, were exceptional and made the whole event a truly memorable occasion.The gardens and grounds are really beautiful - especially the magnificent old trees - as well as the bird-life and large fishpond. There is ample room for children to run around and play.The accommodation was clean and well-serviced, and the beds and bedding so comfortable and luxurious that one was tempted to languish in bed all day.The beautiful little chapel - with its memorial garden - is a truly unique and special place.Importantly..... they are LOAD-SHEDDINGPROOF; so candle lit - or fireside - meals are purely by choice.I highly recommend Crankos Creek - for your special events and occasions, or just for a weekend or stop-over.
