Bosch Car Service AAI Auto (Rivonia Crossing 2 - Paulshof)

I phoned them for a quote for a full clutch kit on my vehicle ,and needed to get my car towed to the shop because it wasn't able to move ,I agreed with the quote and booked it in the next day .I paid for a tow truck to get my car there and they phoned me two hours later and said they made a mistake with my quote and I needed to pay a extra 5000 rand .Can you imagine that !!! .Wasted my money on the tow ,The receptionist was so rude to me on the phone and made it seem like it was no big deal .Nobody ever apologized to my for their mistake ,don't get any work done at this bosh ,you will be sorry .I wish I read the reviews before I went there .1 star service for a 1 star business .

I just experienced the most awful and unprofessional service from Bosch Rivonia Crossing.A quotation was emailed to me 6 weeks back to have work performed on my car. They then today presented me with a new quote where the labour hours were all of a sudden doubled in comparison with the previous section.I was then confronted in the most unprofessional way by the owner himself when I queried the issue with him.His direct words to me were:- I don't need clients like you- If Ford is cheaper, maybe you should go to them the next time- It is clients like you that want everything for free- Do you want the number for Bosch head office, I will give it to you myself

Appearance: This service center is clean and well managed with enough secure parking outside the shop front.Service: I called on Monday afternoon, made a booking for Wednesday morning, booked my car in at 07h15 and had it back with me (after a major service) at 11h30. I was updated with fixes that needed to be done in addition to basic services (wiper blades) and called as soon as my car was ready. This is the best service I have received from a Car Service Center.Covid: my only recommendation would be for employees to be better covid-conscious. I saw one employee booking a car in and they had forgotten to wear a mask. I had to remind the attendant with me to wear their mask as well. This does not change my rating, it is only a recommendation for the company.

I took my car in for a service and an oil leak repair. However, the workmanship was poor and quality control was non-existent. The car was driving much worse afterward the service (stalling while I was driving) and still leaking oil.When I returned the next day, they insinuated that it was my fault and that I wasn't taking proper care of the car. They said that I needed a change the spark plugs and fuel filter because they weren't done in almost two years....but I've been taking my car there for services since 2019, so why wasn't that done before?Finally, they said that both the owner and workshop manager test-drove the car and found nothing wrong.As soon as I drove the car, it started stalling again. I took the car to another dealer who found that the accelerator boot was not plugged in again after they serviced the car and that's why the car kept stalling while I drove it.So, 1) clearly there is no proper quality control over the work, and2) either no care or lack of competence that two so-called 'mechanics' didn't pick up that there was something wrong when they test drove the car.Finally, the owner didn't have the decency to return my call or apologise for the poor workmanship when I phoned to tell them what was wrong with the car.I will never return!

Wonderful service. Took may car for service a second time. Bookings are fast and reliable. Very well priced and service with a smile. Received personal service from the owner Mike and will take my car there again. Sue is also a plesure to deal with and the whole team keeps you updated. Well worth the visit

Terrible. Rude. Dismissive. Very SHADY! They messed up my car then charged me close to R800 for a part that costs about R300 because they didn’t want to admit that they were wrong. Mind you the part they charged me for I needed because of their mess up. So they overcharged me so they could secretly cover labour costs and continue to gaslight me into thinking that they did not mess up my car. I paid because I just didn’t have it in me to fight at the time. Go to another place, please. Those people are shady, patronizing and I will say again, very SHADY!

I wish I read the reviews before taking my car here. Less than a month after taking my car in for a service the service light came back on. I took it back twice which was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE and COST ONLY TO FIND THERE WAS A NEED TO CHANGE BRAKE PADS.I have been in regular contact hoping for a better resolve to no avail. They also apparently left some tool in my car. Unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

Fixed what two other mechanics couldn't. Really happy with the service, honesty, professionalism and effort to find parts for my Chev. Will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!!

They present you will a detailed (impressive) quote of work to be done along with an impressive checklist of preventative maintenance. I'm 100% sure they didn't bother to check half the items on their own list . All Bosch did was give me back a car with more problems than it originally had. Cost me close to R4000-00 for nothing really (went back 3 times for issues), ended up taking the vehicle to a BMW dealership and all was sorted albeit much more expensive. STAY AWAY FROM BOSCH AAI Auto!!!

Poor workmanship -seemingly inexperienced & unresponsive to customer feedback. Took my vehicle in (BMW F30) for annual service & brakes. They decided to skim disks which left the disks warped & damaged wheel bearings. Car had a winding sound when collected. After complains, they insisted it was to do with new brake pads... a week later, they suggested we change wheel bearings (at my cost), which I did. Still the sound persisted..only to have the car back in for a third time (the last two overnight). Not sure what repair were done, apparently it had to do with a schamfer on the rear disk. Finally, two weeks later I found the right stabilizer link damaged. In addition, I sent a note to the owner explaining above, the cost & inconveniences caused. No response nor apology received. I will take this repair elsewhere, despite additional cost to me - prefer the peace of mind. Unfortunate in times when patronage should be salvaged. Please beware, I have reason to believe sub standard knowledge in their practice, shoddy workmanship & poor controls. I will never use Bosch Car Service at Paulshof again.
