Planet Fitness Signature - Wanderers

I joined with the April Fools special and since then I have been treated like a fool. Worst customer experience ever, staff is rude, has no idea what they are doing. Still waiting for someone to do an induction and the manager to call me back. Better the devil we know they say. I am canceling my membership. Worst ever mistake I made.

Be very careful of their fine print, I signed up, and sales consultant says you can cancel anytime after 6 months, after sending email that you relocate, they just ignores it, and asking thousands in cancelation fees, be very careful, they will basically hold you to to the term of the contract, and even if you send emails it's just ignored, and they bill you in anyway,....not worth it

The classes are great, the gym has coped really well with all of the loadshedding - but a gym with no airconditioning for the past year is just totally unacceptable.The air-conditioner is now working perfectly.The classes are great.

The pool hasn’t been heated for months. Previously the smaller pool was not heated for months now it’s both the pools. This also means that the shower water cannot be heated as they use the sameCompressor. Every week I’m told a different story. This is the only gym pool close to me as platinum closed down. So tired of this sub par service!

Absolutely useless gym. Weights are damaged, A/C doesn't work, generator runs out of fuel, useless management, can keep going on. Very nice and knowledgeable personal trainers losing out because of the lack of care of management. Definitely recommend to try any gym before wanderers, even planet fitness as a whole.

Disappointed with my experience at Planet Fitness.The staff were unhelpful and rude, the gym's air conditioning did not work, the plunge pool was broken and the yoga studio had a foul fishy odour.The straw that broke the camel's back was when we were debited R600 more than agreed, and when we asked for a refund, they refused. We ultimately decided to cancel our membership. Not worth the hassle and frustration. Avoid, if possible...There are 3 gyms within walking distance: Moove, Virgin Classic and Virgin Rosebank; all are miles ahead of Planet.

It started off great- but then I fell victim to false advertising.The childcare times are a lie- management refuses to put a notice to advise that the services are not available as disayed.on the wall.Was promised they would up a notice more than a month th ago and nothing has been done. Apparently the times have not been corrected for more than a year.The aircon system has been replaced by 2 giant fans who have just doesn't cut it.Letting itself down by cutting corners

Was a member of this for over 3 years and was forced to cancel due to poor gym conditions. Unfortunately during my time as a member the condition of this gyn only worsened. From 1 CGM to another, from false promises to cutting corners. To almost 2 years without AIRCONDITIONING and still on going! surely thats a health hazard and you need to close???! The CGM eventually installed 2 large fans which he calls mobile AC's however they just blow hot air . Reception Staff are also very unfriendly. The 'heated' pool has also been ice cold for many months. They also try and debit your account after you cancel so be aware of these scammers. For a 'signature' club in a high end area of jhb this is quite disappointing.

Great gym. It is well equipped, clean and very nice bathrooms and overall very neat. There are many different types of machines to work out and different areas that you could try. Would recommend to anyone.
