Thank you for an amazing Italian experience on the grounds of Cape Town.The food was absolutely amazing pizza and the pasta! Cost-cutting galore. Store-bought spaghetti, no fresh seafood, and tasted gritty. Possibly due to prawns not being deveined which shows total lack of care for the food. No sense of hospitality or service. Kitchen staff were very nice and friendly though. Worried the fish in the tank is dying.

Next to Fish Hoek train station I had a great and tasty Italian meal. Sam the owner is so sweet and put love in the food. After an incompréhension of the menu from my side, she proposed so promptly to cook again the meal. For sure I’ll be back next time in Fish Hoek!

Interesting, unique place. You could easily miss this place. The roof and walls are full of Italian memorabilia and personal photos of the owner, and he sits in the middle of the restaurant shouting orders. Pizza's are nice bit different than usual with no tomato base as that is American" and not Italian."

Downright disgusting! Smelled like it hadn't been cleaned properly in years. Actually smelled like a place normally smells when it has rodents and roaches. Being a polite human being I decided to sit down and ask for a menu. When my drink arrived, the glass looked like it was washed in cooking oil with finger smudges. The dirtiest glass I've seen in my life. Hands down! When I complained and asked to see the manager or owner, the owner tried to convince me the glass was clean. When I further questioned him (because clearly he was delusional or blind, or just downright stupid) ; he then developed an attitude because I wasn't satisfied with his relvolting concept of hygiene in a restaurant to say the least. I most certainly refused to pay for the drinks we ordered because we definitely weren't even going to take a sip. He should NOT be allowed to run a business, especially a restaurant.

I’m new to Fish Hoek, service was super friendly, but Pizza needs a lot of work, being authentic Italian one would think it to be expected that the pizza would be perfect.Disappointing indeed.

Authentic italian cuisine. This restaurant has a great spirit, a sort of where everybody knows your name" feel to it. The Seafood pizza is out of this world
