Do you need a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life? If you do, Volmoed is the place to go. The setting is peaceful and quiet, out of the city. The amenities are simple yet comfortable, and rates are good.

What a beautiful, peaceful place. The accommodation is lovely, comfortable, and well equipped, and the property is such gorgeous. I loved having so many options of peaceful places to sit and read - from the waterfall to the benches by the various ponds and grotto. I also loved doing the walks on the property, which are well-marked and easy but take you to beautiful views and places without even leaving the property. I will definitely be back the next time I need some soul-rest. Thank you Volmoed.

Serene, clean, beautiful environment to be in. Lovely walks and spots to contemplate, sit down, great lawn to play on, paths to jog / walk along.It is easy to drive past the entrance in the dark if you arrive at night, but staying here is a wonderful experience. Basic Pvt kitchen, but a wonderful communal kitchen for camps / retreats. I will visit again and again...

This place is fantastic for retreats and getaways. There is so much to see and the natural beauty of the area is amazing. The cottages are really cosy and beautiful. There is a lot of space and the cooks do an amazing job on catering. You just lounge around, take a walk, go hiking, go for a run or just soak it all in.

A beautiful getaway. Friendly staff. Mr Brazil from Malawi showed me how to milk a cow. Stunning views and walks. Peacful & relaxing. We stayed 2 nights. Its been a very enjoyable stay.
