This is a review of Summer Glades complex on 17 Avondale Road in Durban managed by Wakefields.This is a review of the Summer Glades complex managed by Wakefields.Secure complex but we always face problems with water supply. Every month we face several days without water. Also the units have become very old and have a lot of dampness, mould, fungus along with many plumbing issues throughout the building with water leaks, flooding and drainage problems. The neighbours are nice and friendly but these apartments are no longer a good place to live with the continuous problems we face. The complex is managed by Wakefields who seem to charge us their own rate for water consumption which seems to be higher than municipality rates. When we asked Wakefields to provide a proper breakdown with detailed usage billing, they asked us to contact the landlords. The levies keep increasing but we do not see any real improvements in the condition of the properties. Every time the levy increases, our landlord increase the rent. I was considering investing here myself but I guess that may be a bad choice given the facts above.

I have all praises for AJ.(Amjith) our Portfolio Manager of our complex .He runs it to the T.Very professional,and passionate about his responsibilities.Together with his colleague Avashnee they make a successful team .High achievers with no disappointments.

A big thank you to Chris Nel for helping me that man went beyond and above for me to get the right deal for the house...he treated me like a family not just a customer... He understood my budget Nd mad sure I get the best of what I'm lookn for... If you need sum1 who can help you get a house not just cell you a house.. Please ask for CHRIS NEL.. Im more then just disappointed at the service, if I may even call it “service”. Im repulsed to say the least the agents are lazy and slow on paper especially after the sale has been approved. The last straw was been given the wrong keys and not being able to enter our new home. You're are a disappointment and the Berea Branch is definitely not awake #SleepFields

very bad service, asking for two weeks with two wakefields agents to arrange a viewing.....still no response or follow up from either one. Other agencies respond efficiently.

Excellent service provided by Wakesfields to the VSM Building complex by the portfolio management and team.

Unfortunately these estate agents will waste your time with ridiculous low offers.Quite strange mom had similar experiences with them.
