Everything was absolutely perfect! The logde, the view, the meals, breakfast and so on.Marika and Bas are great and perfect hosts.

my stay was 15/06 - 19/06/21. It was a super-stay. The staff: Cosmo the front office staff, Sipho the ranger, Phindile the house-keeper and of course Kopano the chef, you all rock!

Had the best time in this amazing lodge! While the pricing was low comparing to other game lodges in private reserves, we got a luxurious experience including a huge private suite, 24 hours service from the most kind and carrying staff, delicious food by the in house chef and amazing views of the wild nature right outside our window. Our room was perfectly clean and included private outside porch with a fire place and braai facilities, comfortable bed with a princess like mosquito net, mini bar filled with drinks in ridiculous prices, a bath and 2 showers: indoors and outdoors, accompanied with high end Africology soaps. Isilimela team also provided us with professional game drives to Kruger park, as well as morning and evening drive in the private reserve. Maikel, the owner, was always available and made sure we had the perfect vacation. Highly recommended!

Wauw, what a place. And what a lovely staff. We even saw more animals here than in Kruger and the place itself couldn't be better. The room with the view is the one you usually dream about. The food they serve is the typical south african meat we hoped for and it was very good. Thank you for everything

The place is to die for. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Its clean, romantic, etc. We were in heaven.

By passing the gate, the safari/adventure beginns (if your lucky you meet the first animals -> we saw three giraffes)Our lodge was very great: lovingly designed big and clean rooms, outside shower, great view from the terrace (watching a giraffe by getting up) with our own fireplace -> when you arrive after a long journey you will be received with a burning fire.Marike and Bas are really great hosts. They gave us some good hints before arriving in SA and also when we've been there they took care of us, that it felt like being a part of the family.Also breakfast and dinner was delicious. They're very flexible.
