Care for Cancer Foundation

Care for Cancer assisted my family when my aunt was diagnosed with Leukemia. She was in desperate need of transportation for her hospital appointments. They provided support and were always willing to go the extra mile. She was made comfortable as traveling took a lot out of her. They are truly a blessing and my family is ever grateful for their help. We definitely need more of you.

Being married for 10 years,with 2 young kids and having to deal with a husband with drug addiction was really challenging,my husband could never keep a job so I had to step up and find a job in order to take care of my family.Life has never been easy for me. I handled all the situations I faced with courage. I stood strong because of my kids.But hearing the words....Your 4 year old son has Leukemia" is the most devastating news a mother could ever hear.For the first time I was broken...shattered into little pieces.With no support from my husband because he was in his own world already.Had to take a break from work to be with my baby boy in hospital for 6 months to be exact. No work no pay

As we know breast cancer is every woman's fear. Upon my experience of finding little lumps on my breast, it lead me to all sorts of fearful and negative thoughts.I brought it to the Care for Cancer Foundations attention and was assisted immediately. Before going to the Cancer Foundation I had complete fear of what my out come would be, however after speaking and being advised by the members of the foundation, they had me look at the positive side of getting my mammogram done.Thanks to the Care for Cancer Foundation I now have peaceful sleeps, more knowledge about breast cancer , no more anxiety and a more positive outlook towards life.The mammogram was a quick and painfree process with advanced technology. My results were given to me in under 15 mins and the service was phenomenal.. Thank you again to the Care for Cancer Foundation for giving me peace of mind. And finally allowing me to be the positive woman I ought to be...

I googled all the cancer foundations and i phoned each one of them....Care for Cancer is the only foundation that stood by me when no other did. I am a mum fighting stage 4 cancer and I am currently struggling financially,(as I pay for my treatment), emotionally and physically.Care for cancer (Angels in disguise) have helped me immensely. I am so grateful for the members .They are so supportive and always willing to help whether it is financially, treatment or advise. Thank you Zubair Moideen, Idrissa and Sumaya. My your foundation grow from strength to strength. I also encourage people to donate to this foundation so more people in need may be helped. Thank you God for all the kind and good hearted people out there.

I know that this is long overdue. Although I am still receiving treatment, I wish to thank the Care for Cancer Foundation for getting me on the correct path.As you know I found the lumps in both breasts in 2020. Due to lock down and fear and lack of finances, I did not persue a mammogram. Upon sharing my dilemma to a close friend, who put me onto your Foundation. I want to express my deepest gratitude to you for taking care of the mammogram, the lifts to and from the hospital, your guidance and copious amounts of coffee, not to mention your staff who have held my hand through the process.As you know they found cancer in both breasts and hopefully have been removed successfully. I have 13 more days of radiation and then will go back in Feb 2022 to get the results. Your kindness shown to me, a complete stranger, is so much appreciated. This organisation and the people associated with it are nothing short of angels. My father was on the hospital waiting list for a colonoscopy for 2 months with no luck. I contacted Idrisa from the Cancer Foundation in desperation and apart from being empathetic and understanding, did my father's colonoscopy in 2 days! Thank you. You guys are all angels!

Please dont ever donate to this facility unless you have solid proof of were your contribution is going too... these people dont help you only make you a fool and to do this to poor people is not good over 50 percent of people that came to them for help never got it and was only made false promises.. Zubair and his wife Sumaiya are very rude to people over the phone the lady working there nasreen as well ..... a family member of mine went to them for help they took her details down and said that they will call her to notify her when her date was to do the tests 2 weeks later no call and when she called back sumayia swore her over the phone and then zubair took the phone and warned her not to call again ... this is not how you treat people...
