Totai The Gas Solution

My totai heater after switching it on for few minutes it just switches off automatically. When it first start doing that I thought it's self regulatory it will switch back on after few seconds but it didn't and then I tried switching it on it didn't switch on......... I'm not happy with the Totai heater njee

Stove and oven worked for 4years.But when it eventually broke it could not be repaired. There is zero aftermarket support. Don't even call them.

Gas Boiling Table via Makro 20/CA9This stove was purchased via Makro & They don't want to place my review - Please learn from my mistake!The stove arrived in component form - The information and photos on the Makro website show an assembled product that only requirehose & a regulator.There are no instructions on how to assemble.The product information is in 'Ching-lich'The 'table' part is skew and the some 'pot-rests' had to be grinded back that the burner could fit!The burner holders required grinding that the burner could fit.The worst is I did buy 2 of them as I need it for a welfare pancake project!Please learn for free from my mistakes.Stephanus

I went to Totai to get them to look at my Totai camping geyser that wasn't igniting. On arrival I was met by Zunaid who informed me that they were going to have a stock-take and were unable to assist me. After I explained that I'd phone the previous day and had arranged to come in today, he then made arrangements to have a technician fix the geyser while I waited. I would like to recommend Zunaid for making client service a priority, something one gets very little in South Africa. Employees like Zunaid give both the Company and the Brand a good name. Well done.

No service. Can't complain about service. That doesn't exist.No feedback. Just rubbish service. Product is great. After market after sales are rubbish

Poor communication on after sales service. Lunch is more important and all customers must wait while ALL staff have lunch at the same time. They had all day to test a geyser, which was brand new, not working, they waited till lunch time to go get batteries because they didn't have.... in a service center that uses these batteries daily. Very disappointing service.

We installed our gas geyser August 2022. It was still under warranty but the installed did a BAD job ( Godfrey - from I love Sandton/ Ilovo)I phoned Totai gas and Keegan assisted us. He sent someone to explain the settings and for the first time we could shower without being too hot or too cold! ( The water flow need to be at minimum flow for the geyser to ignite! )Thanks Keegan, this is excellent Customer service and thats for the great after sales service Totai!

I bought my Totai 6 plate gas stove with gas oven two years ago. I was so impressed. Locally made. I thought...why buy an overseas make when you can support local business....with supposedly good aftercare. What a crock.After a year the ovenflame just suddenly began dying in the middle of a cake or pie baking. I phoned Totai. The person I spoke to didn't know what to do or how to help me. Now two years down the line I am thinking of pitching this stove on the rubbish heap.Just now I wanted to use the oven. 16 times the flame just died. All the wasted ingredients. I used to love baking rusks and cakes, but not in this oven.11/5/2023So after my review I was contacted by Totai. The company got a local electrician to come out and look at my stove. After sending the wrong part thrice, the correct part was despatched and installed the 31 March 2023.According to the electrician, he works on the Totia stoves a lot and I was not encouraged.After the oven was fixed, I had to pay the electrician a R1000 for his expertise. The part was cost free as per Totai's input.I have baked rusks and two cakes. All is well at the moment and hopefully for the foreseeable future.

I visited Totai to purchase 2x burner covers for my patio heaters. As they didn't have stock, I was informed they will order from Italy but this would take 2 months.After 2 months I contacted Totai and was informed that the stock arrived but needed to be unpacked.I contacted Totai and was informed that they only had 1 cover and the person will search for another 1.I received a call and informed that they had stock ut its old and I can pay R 1t0 per cover excl vat.I bought these covers and as I arrived home I noticed that the covers were not for the models that I requestedI contacted Totai who informed a technical agent will visit my home and replace the covers.On arrival the covers did not fit and the agent took the covers I bought with him, and informed he will get this sorted.Nothing happened and I contacted Totai and was informed that I need to supply all prove of purchase to get my money back2 months later and no refund was received and no covers received.The lady is very rude and is turning the situation around.I will not buy anything from this company again
