An important stop when visiting Pietermaritzburg. Close enough to the highway to pop into on your journey between Durban and Harrismith. These guys make great coffee! They really know their stuff, and you will leave with your craving satisfied. Take away is the order of the day here, so don't expect to sit down. Get in, get out, back on the road. All in all very worthwhile.

I'm a big fan of Seattle Coffee since introduced to it by colleagues at Woodmead, Johannesburg. So I was pleasantly surprised to locate one in Pietermaritzburg. On my second day purchase and as I took my last sip of their delicious coffee. I discover this... Please see the picture but don't look if you are squeamish. I am very disturbed and disappointed by this.

The coffee is marvelous. Their staff is friendly and they add that personal touch to every customers experience. That way you don't feel like a passer by but like you are appreciated and that means a lot. It adds more pleasure to the experience and keeps you coming back. I personally have been a customer of this coffee shop for nearly 5 years and have built a friendly connection with many of the staff members.They have a large specialty range from hot to iced and the in between. A personal recommendation is to keep it standard and indulge in their breathtaking espresso cappuccinos made with their secret coffee bean ground and brewed fresh while you wait, with the milk of your choice with cream as an add on.With the smell of freshly ground coffee all day round, that 'fresh stop' will be the best one you'll ever make and will keep you coming back for more.

Seattle coffee staff & Caltex garage staff always clueless about the Hollard coffee vouchers. I'd been in twice previously when the manager was there & was able to apply my vouchers.Other than that it's one of the best stops in pmb. Shop is clean and orderly.

This is the best coffee spot. I drive to the car wash in PMB from Howick just to visit Seattle Coffee. Staff are excellent, friendly and efficient
