Painful experience, got wisdoms removed and because of using my jaw as leverage, for one of them, it has been uneven ever since.

Wonderful! As a retired person without a set income or medical aid and a fear of dentists I needed something affordable and people who could deal with a dentophobe!This practice is walk-in. I was concerned about sitting in crowds and a long wait - I was in the chair within 20 minutes. Everything was immaculate - clean and spotless.The staff were lovely - calming and reassuring. Treatment options were discussed with me, not imposed, and I got what I went for.The fee was very affordable and a fraction of other quotes I had had, and included medication.After 27 years in Pietermaritzburg, I have finally found a dentist I shall return to.

Being absolutely terrified of dentists, I was horrified to discover the only person I trusted to work on my family's dental issues, had left Pietermaritzburg. Off I went in search of a dentist that I could one, afford as a cash paying patient, and two, someone who came highly recommended. My anxiety levels at an all time high, I ventured into the surgery, after being quoted a month's rent by another dentist.I was greeted by amazing and friendly staff members, in an immaculate surgery. I mean immaculate! No appointment necessary, I joined the queue, after providing my details. After a very short wait, I was ushered into the xray room, containing a state of the art machine- like nothing I could imagine. Xray up on the screen Dr Turton discussed the issues. I explained my absolute terror at being there and fear of needles. He and his assistants were very reassuring. Within a few minutes, and not an ounce of pain, I was told there we go, we are done. I was gobsmacked. We were indeed done!My bill came to less than a quarter of what I had been quoted by the other dentist. Would i recommend tgis practice? 110% without a doubt. This will ne the family dentist practice from now on.

Today was my first time and last Dr Turton was very rough and I was not happy with the result.RE: My teeth were not too dirty.I have been going to Medicross all this years and I have never experienced so much pain. All you needed to do was to apologise.

For someone who had never pulled out a tooth in the 31 years that I'm on this earth, and with a phobia for dentists, I would recommend Dr Turton to anyone with dental issues, he really has a passion for his job, he comforted me through out the entire procedure, my wisdom teeth were out and I didn't even know it, also as a cash paying patient he was very considerate and charged me about 50% less then what I was quoted by another dental surgeon, really super awesome service, a huge thank you to Dr Turton and your awesome team

We were visiting from out of town and were referred by our Orthodontist to Dr Turton. He was such a laid back humble person we didnt even knw he was the dentist. We were however conforted by the great google reviews he had. I am very pleased to say that it was a totally brilliant experience for my child. Non traumatic. No pain, and a very relaxing stress free atmosphere.Thanks Dr Turton we would give u 10 stars if we could highly recommended!!!!

His staff members pay attention to detail and great hospitality The Dr's work is just amazing and thank you so much for bringing back my long lost smile. You are the best.
