Very pleasant to shop at. Cashier extremely friendly. I forgot my phone home and had to update my spending limit online. She kept my goodies safe and I could simply return and have them as I left it. I didn't mind getting back in line at all.

Place is crowded ,especially month ends.Paypoint lines are always long.Parking is a major problem.

Affordable prices and very spacious. The only down for me I bought a few chicken items and had to bag them myself...I really don't like packing I ended up packing the Chicken from the trolley to the car.

I had a very bad experience at A1 chickens today. Customer should be vigilant when doing their shopping at these stores. It's vital to take note of ur till slips, because you stand a great chance of being conned . Cashiers take advantage of customers who are also struggling to put food on their families table, life is hard for all of us especially with the current situation of covid19 which has crippled all of us.

Buy my chicken and some other meat here. Chicken is well priced with good quality. What can improve is the way check outs is done at the till points. Staff has to enter long codes for every product manually. This can take an age. Maybe the managers can invest in a product scan system. You also have to pack your own groceries into your bags, after you are out the store and the security has checked your purchase compared to your slip. This is really horrible customer service.

I'm a regular customer and I have a small business. I like the quality of their chicken, but I'm always unlucky where i get boxes that is more then 6kg. And it can get expensive when I buy bulk.
