I had 2 bracelets fixed at the end of August, at a substantial cost. The mangalsutra was repaired using a lower quality bead, you can see the bead has chips on it and is a different colour in light. The tennis bracelet fell apart the first time I put it on after the repair.

SD Pather gets a minus rating from me...I bought 2 eternity rings: one diamond and one tanzanite ring and within no time1. 2 diamonds had fallen out.2. 3 tanzanite stones had fallen outBUT the worst experience of all, I had my valuable diamond reset by SDPather, and within a short space of time, the claws needed replacing , which I paid for, then within 3 months of this the claws needed further attention and within another 3 months of this my diamond fell out...each time these rings were sent away to JHB and took several weeks to return..........although the staff may be friendly, I will not recommend your business.

Changed my review below from 1 to 5 stars. They gave me a new band and sent the half of the remaining strap as well. They do keep in touch throughout the process. Happy to have the watch back.NEVER REPAIR A WATCH WITH THEM. Gave in a practically brand new fossil. They insisted I must pay the full amount up front for repairs to mechanism. When I came to collect watch had a missing strap. Now they're going back to contact their supplier. RIDICULOUS.""

These are my go to jewelers. I have batteries changed and straps resized. Always done quickly and efficiently.They repaired a strap for a Seiko watch that we had bought in Dubai where the catch broke after a number of years. Other jewelers said it could not be fixed and suggested that we'd need to get a new watch. SD Pather fixed it for the grand sum of R40,00 and it is still working perfectly ten years later.

Excellent service. Staff was friendly and ever so helpful. Their jewelery is so stunning that I went in looking for one bracelet and came out with three.

Helpful, polite and understanding staff but after getting called back to check my item, it was fixed completely wrong, I was shocked it wasn't checked before I was called ing. I never give back reviews but I'm extremely disappointed. I had to give it back for fixing and wait longer for the item. I can't afford much and this is the most expensive piece of jewelry I own, hope they get it right 2nd time around.
