We all know home affairs has a bad reputation but this time I was extremely impressed with the service. Applied for passports for ourselves and the kids. The application was smooth. The staff were helpful and friendly especially Iris and Busisiwe. And the passports were ready in less than a week!! I found that unbelievable! Now I won't be so hesitant to get my smart ID...

Worst experience ever. Went there at 7am and decided to leave at 8.45 due to the fact that not one person had been called in from the time they opened. They did not inform anyone if there was any issue and what was the delay. We were just standing outside in the rain. Pathetic service

This home Affairs deserves no zero ratings. for 2 consecutive days the system was offline. Had to come back after 7 days to find out the their payment system is also offline after queuing for good 6 hours. No solar or generators for load shedding backup. slowly worker along with their systems. They don't take us serious.

Went there yesterday, 29 Dec 2022 for my son's first ID,after trying numerous times without success at Bronkhorstspruit. It was busy,but chairs were provided outside. Loadshedding did not pose a problem,as they have a generator. Security and staff were very helpful and efficient. Very well done,Middelburg.

Very bad. Went to collect my ID. Told me they can't help me immediately. Have to wait until there are 10 people on the list before they fetch it from the back. Waited an hour and a half. Then she collected it after 6 people. How ridiculous

I went yesterday to apply for my daughters smart ID. I was very impressed with the service I received from the security assisting us with seating etc and also all the staff . Smooth process , out in 45 min all done . Well done

I phoned the Office of ms Penny Vuma, who is in charge of the Middelburg branch. She personally answered my call and dealt with my urgent query about my daughter's passport fast and efficiently. I am impressed.
