Beautiful coffee shop and restaurant. Open for breakfast and lunch. There is even a creative hub selling cake emporium goodies. Lots of delicious cakes, biscuits, snacks, coffee to take away after a meal. X

Highly recommended by locals, but not to expectations. Recent change of Management did put a pause on actual assessment, and poor results were given.Service is Friendly, but delayed, so is the deliverance on Beverage and Meal times. Attention to requests is important, and should not be taken lightly.Table was still being cleaned, and not sanitized until after the Cafe Latte was served 10 minutes later.Cafe Latte gave a odd taste, not sure if the cup wasn't properly cleaned or the machine itself.The Fully Loaded Breakfast: Eggs were not as requested and runny. Bacon was over cooked. Tomato was not fresh, and only one slice of bread was offered. No mention of any recommendations upon serving 30-35 minutes after initial order.Overall result, not fully satisfied with the service, nor deliverance.4/10 Score

Clare's Cakes & Coffee Shop is really a very Special place. We have been frequenting this eatery for many years. The service is excellent, the cakes are always fresh and tastes delicious and their cappuccino's are just great!!A friendly and warm atmosphere.

Today we treated ourselves with a piece of chocolate cake, brownie, carrot muffin and the obviously giant chocolate chip cookie. And all of them have been perfect in taste and consistency!Also it was really nice that we are able to pick all the pieces ourself like on a buffet ;)

Delicious cakes and great service. We enjoyed meeting the owner Hans . He is so passionate about his brand and he made us feel at home . Definitely recommend this place for delicious desserts .

When you are 3 hours into a 9 hour drive and you realise the cake you baked for your son’s birthday is still in the fridge! Quick search for a cake maker on route and fingers crossed they can help. Clare’s Cakes came to the rescue. Not only did she have a carrot cake baked but she quickly iced it and personalised it for me. What a superstar. The cake was delicious. Thank you so much!

Ordered a cake from here for my Grans 80th birthday. Went for red valvet. The cake was delicious, moist and not too sweet. They also managed to create something that looked amazing. Really impressed

Came here for brunch following the various good reviews. Hate to say that but overall very disappointed by the Poached eggs (and not Benedict eggs*) or pancakes**(75 for the 2 broken pancakes below seems like a very bad deal) maybe the place is more focused on cakes..and we had to wait a long time. Personnaly, I would try the cakes, but if you are looking for a great brunch experience, I would rather recommend to eat in Flo & Co in Knysna for instance.**: this was posted before we paid. The pancakes were kindly offered due to a kitchen mistake.
