Kruger Shalati - The Train on the Bridge

Wow! Where to even begin?!?! Amazing train car rooms with incredible views, pool with incredible views, delicious food, and the best / nicest staff ever. If you’re even considering staying here stop now and book it. You will not regret it.

Amazing again! We stayed in the train room last year, this year, we tried the bridge house. Both are perfect!. The food, the staff, the location....amazing! A very special thank you to Nelly, it was great to be on the road with you, again:)

Absolutely best experience EVER! Can't be explained with words how much we loved to stay at this hotel. Just WOW. :) Especially our tour ranger Lawrence made it VERY special! :)

Put it into a single word: Fantastic!The personnel is very kind and super friendly. The food is top notch. The location is a place you won't find anywhere else. Added bonus: Two game drives which start before sunrise und go into dawn. A+++

We stayed at Skukuza for 5 nights, had our each meal with the 3638 station restaurant!! Yes, it's that good! 12 out of 10. We even hired their venue to take annual family photos! Check it up, we had a nice DnD game there.

What an incredible experience. Apart from the view from our room, of hippos and crocs in the river, the staff were lovely and the service fantastic. Our room looked beautiful, out of an interior design magazine, with everything anyone could possibly want.Special thanks to Jeffrey, for looking after us so well during mealtimes,And to Lawrence, our game ranger, who was a gracious, knowledgable and entertaining host during the game drives. We really enjoyed his company and he definitely made our stay even more special.I would say this is was once in a life time place, but I already want to go back. An incredibly special and rare place, definitely worth seeking out, and perfect for couples looking at a romantic getaway.

A truly great experience, 24 hours of bliss...Yes it is expensive but you truly get value; fantastic accomodation in a unique setting, superb dining and excellent staff at all levels with personal service at all times. Highly reccomended.
