Great venue for groups of friends or family wanting to get away. Lots of space for the kids to run around and play. Caught some small Bass in the ponds.

Spent a weekend surrounded by the magical scenery of the location ! The accommodation was comfortable, cozy and authentically farm style, the exterior fire- pit made for fantastic star gazing and the hosts were attentive beyond expectation ! I am already enthusiastically planning my next visit

Located just outside Dullstroom, this venue was such a pleasure. With views of the rolling hills we enjoys a gorgeous sunset with some sundowners. With lovely family-style accommodation and a lovely venue for weddings etc this is definitely a great place to come enjoy some quiet outside of the big city

The Red Barn Dullstroom
A great place to get away. It's very peaceful, and the Homestead is huge and very comfortable. We visited in mid-winter and the ample wood supply meant that we could have a roaring fire. It's wonderful to just sit in the sun, and admire the rolling golden winter hills. I suggest you take binoculars.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn (the Dairy Cottage), the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We love nature and being surrounded by animals, so this place gets a definite 5/5. The place was clean, felt like a home, has a nice warm fireplace, quiet surrounding - away from the main road. The lake is a nice spot to have a picnic, we spent a bit of time just chilling by it. The birds and trees book collection was an extra added touch for us as my partner is an animal and agriculture expert, so he thoroughly enjoyed browsing through it. Would definitely visit again. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

The Red Barn is an absolutely incredible venue. My new husband and I had the most magical wedding imaginable, thanks to Claire and John at The Red Barn. The entire day went off without a single hitch - seamless, sophisticated and truly spectacular! Thank you both so much for making our special day so much more.

We had a friends wedding at The Red Barn and stayed at the Homestead for the weekend. Great accommodation. Great scenery. Awesome wedding venue.Claire was even so kind to help me when I had forgotten items at the house. Thank you!
