Thank you to Antionette and Wieske van Zyl of Berg en Dal Kennels for always takinging such amazing care of my 3 fur babies. The love that they give and care for my dogs and especially my older girl is above and beyond. You ladies are the best and I will never go to any other kennel.

Berg en Dal Kennel
Just fetched my Bella from a week there at the kennels. She was so happy to see us but seemed like she had a great time! The owner is friendly and gave us good feedback on her time there. Normally she doesn’t eat a lot when we aren’t around, but seemed she had no problem as we were told she has a great appetite. Will definitely use them again!

We boarded our two dobermans there for 6 six days. Both came back extremely sick and today we had to put down our male because of kidney failure, liver failure and blood clots in his lungs, brain and heart.They kept telling us that our dogs are happy and playful but they came back incredibly broken. They were not kept in pens outside but in disgustingly dirty crates in a dark room of their house. If you leave your animals here, they will not come back the same. My dogs love the Berg en Dal kennel. They have been frequent guests for two years now and are always excited about their stay there. I visited most of the kennels around Johannesburg and Pretoria before choosing Berg en Dal. This is the only place where they won't keep each dog separate all the time, if they are from the same family, they will stay together, or if they're friendly, they will find them a friend of a similar size and temperament. They also get personal attention and walks and I can say that this is the only place I trust to take a good care of my pets.

Antoinette and team take so good care of the dogs. Highly recommended. The property they are on is also very nice and conducive to relaxation. Too bad the owners couldn't stay.

My dog was very depressed when he returned , he was only there for 2 days, the fact that you cant even see where you take your dog also gives me an eery feeling, my dog is the most lively dog ever usually he runs me over of joy, the past 24 hours he just wants to sleep and isnt himself. When he came home he couldnt stop eating and drinking water, he never skips meals and water , and was never as hungry as when i saw him. Why cant we see where our dogs are?

Our lil pup absolutely loved her time at the kennels. Throughout her stay, Antoinette was supportive and understanding. She provided us with constant updates and positive feedback, even a couple of photos of our pup playing with other dogs. Highly recommended.

I don't know who loves Berg en Dal Kennel more, my two cats or myself. From day one of visiting the cattery it felt so peaceful and the owners were so kind and helpful. They helped ease my fears of leaving my cats with other cats and for such a long stay. After picking up my two cats I could instantly tell they were happy at Berg en Dal. I never feel bad dropping the cats off because they love their stay and get spoiled. And the owners are really wonderful people who care so much about animals. I highly recommend Berg en Dal!!
