Free State Lengau Testing and Traffic Centre

There is no good or bad time to go to Lengau but i think as long as you go prepared you will get through it without fuss.Go as early as possible before 7am though they only open at 8am. Lines are long but be prepared to stand forever no matter the weather. If it looks like rain, take an umbrella!!Have with you Certified copies of everything.For minors get an affidavit with parent certified copy of ID and certified copy of utility bill or bank statement that reflects your physical home address.They are going cashless so take your bank card.Please remember at least 4 ID photos & you own Black Pen at all times no matter what you are doing there!!Bring your positive attitude and lots of patience.Take a book to read and some water.

The lines are extremely long so make sure you get there early. The staff are also not of the friendliest. There are some who are helpful but overall there is a lot of room for improvement.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Only downfall is the horrid waiting lines in all departments and especially financial department mainly due to being understaffed.

One of the worst days of my life… still ongoing since 9:30 this morning. I have spent over 5 hours standing in the “Payment” line… renewing your driver’s license in Bloemfontein is a NO NO! Super unfriendly lazy staff and on a busy business day only ONE window services the ONE Line that EVERYBODY requires to pay for the different “services”If you come alone, bring lots of fluids and a snack and your own chair… we spent the first 3 hours standing in line OUTSIDE. Thanks SA Gov… predictable and pathetic. The worst is that the people that usually uses this place in their line of business has actually ACCEPTED this poor “service” as the norm.

The service it's fine the problem is when you suppose to make a payment please increase number of chashier s you will find out one chashier at the time or two

Some of the personnel were very arrogant and disrespectful. Very long ques and too few people working where one has to pay. I spent 6 hours standing in lines. I am 75 years old, nearly fainted after having stood in line in the sun.

It just another government run entity with long queues. The eye testing, photo taking part is relatively easy and quick- main problems lies with payment. Long queues and not enough cashiers to handle the volume of people at this centre.

I had to renew my driver's license. Upon my arrival I was notified that the systems were off-line. I requested to speak to a senior manager to provide me with more information and an estimated time of when they will be able to assist again. The staff were courteous and assist in the best way they were able to.Thanks to all the staff at Lengau Centre. If you did not had the off-line systems you wold have got a 5 star rating today from me (and I do not give stars away that easily).

Just like any other public institutions Lengau Traffic has its own Challenges. improvements needed here and there, long queues with only few tellers working. Some of stuff need training specially when dealing with clients. However other sections are quick and good service.
