Dr Bee Family Dentists, SANDTON

I would really recommend Dr Bee! I've visited her practice multiple times and have always had good service. She's friendly, professional and really makes the visit to the dentist less daunting. Her staff is super friendly as well.

First day : went for a consultation, told doctor was running late and had someone else look at me. She seemed clueless, didn't know what to do and said she'd clean my teeth and write her findings. I'd have to come back for Dr B.2nd visit: Met someone I thought was Dr B (because I mentioned I had an appointment with Dr B plus we are all wearing masks now and I had never met her before) . She did a filling and advised I take out all my wisdom teeth (one at a time) . Filling felt weird but she told me it would become better with chewing and time. What do I know?3rd visit: Met Dr B. She proceeded to remove the filling done a few days earlier and redo it because it had been done wrong. She did a good job because my teeth felt normal. She asked why I had come in, I told her I had been advised for an extraction. She told me the cost and asked if I would be able to pay. There was no procedure discussion, or advice on down time etc. I maybe should have done my own research and asked questions but I just blindly trusted that if there was anything important, she'd tell me. Got a tooth extracted and a sheet on after care instructions.Evening of extraction : I had some concerns so I WhatsApped the emergency number provided, there is still 1 tick as we speak.Morning: I called and got given a different number. I got some reassurances that it was OK and would just go in the next week.Next day: Grew more concerned. Sent message to the 'new' emergency number. There was no answer because it was a public holiday.Note before visit, I had not experienced any tooth pain and the extracted tooth had never been painful or anything. I trusted the dentist when she said I had to take it out as it would cause issues in future. She advised all my wisdom teeth had to be taken out (the one before Dr B) and Dr B removed the one wisdom tooth.I ended up going to a different dentist as I got an infection on the extraction sight and my inside cheek. He was shocked that I had removed a tooth that never gave problems and said my wisdoms were fine and had no need to be removed if they caused no issues. So now I am just in pain and have been inconvenienced for no reason at all.

Dr Bee is one of the most incredible dentists I had an encounter with . She is professional with a personal touch and her work is excellent .I had my had second visit on the 27th of November 2020 for my teeth filling and she did an excellent job again .Thanks Doc

Dr Bee is great and works efficiently with time while still getting a great job done. Also so affordable compared to other dentists in the area and takes most major medical aids. Definitely coming back !

Worst!!!! Scammers!!!! I went to this dentist, referred by colleague, #supportblackbusiness. After cleaning my teeth in less than 25 mins, they ask for a 200rands for “admin”. Could not explain what that was for, refused to pay this, cause not told prior. Boom!! Over 1000 invoice for just cleaning teeth. Horrible service, worst dentist experience I’ve ever had. Will never set my foot at Sunset Dentistry ever!!!

Great experience. Went for a consult on a crown, and got my teeth cleaned. It's nice to have a dentist who is genuinely passionate about what she does. Keen for my follow up. I highly recommend her.
