Nice place for a picnic or outdoor family outing. Great place boating but the hyacinth invasion has made it impossible to enjoy and using your boat. You can fish here. There is an entry fee per person R60 and per vehicle R40. There are camping sites and a swimming pool, as well and pub. Fairly clean area. I just wish they would spend some time cleaning the ducks poo, so you don't have to keeping tramping on it.

The best place ever to relax at, whether it's a day visit, child's birthday or camping weekend using own tent or wendy house.You will never be disappointed here, a nice swimming pool, a bar, fishing or just walking around.I visit this place over and over again, can never get enough of it.Serenity and tranquility on another level.

Nice weekend getaway spot. Ideal if you have water toys (boat or a jetski). They have camping facilities with a pub. They allow for fishing. You can also pay them a visit for the day. They have picnic areas. Enjoy!

Good spot for fishing. You need to make a booking. Some hyacinths in the fishing area. Recommend taking an umbrella or gazebo.

The owners clearly are hungry for money.The website states that it is R50 per person for day entry.THEN after travelling from joburg I get told that it's over R100 per person when I arrived.They're clearly more than happy to take your money but as soon as you ask questions, The lady at the front desk suddenly gains a serious attitude problem. Its my property and I will be as unreasonable as I want and if you don't like it go find somewhere else" kind of vibes.Not really welcoming.A WASTE OF MONEY FOR DAY VISITORS!"

Lovely camping experience here. The campsite is just on the bed of the dam, the view is stunning, fresh breeze, memorable sunrises and sunsets. And it's also not too far from a shipping center so that was convenient. I would recommend this place.

The landscape paired with being near the water gives one a serene calming sense of freedom and closeness to nature. Electricity and water provided near the camping area however, The showers and indoor toilets are located rather far away from the camping site. Boats can be launched from this area. Fishing is prominent with a cordened off location on the water. Shops are close by. Unfortunately like most parts of any location the human disposable plastic footprint is apparent.

Have visited a few times. Great fishing spot, clean ablution blocks, swimming pool thoroughly enjoyed by the kids and adults. Will definitely visit again either camping, fisherman wendies or flat.

We visited as fishing day visitors. Very small area for fishing and not what we expected, but the stands are neat and has a braai area, table, seats, and a shop and swimming pool conveniently close by. For fishing not the best place, but just to relax and unwind.
