The service is very slow and sluggish the tellers take forever helping one customer, every time I visit the branch I come back super dissatisfied.

The teller/cashier service is abysmal in this branch, not only is it extremely slow to the point where I have waited in line for an hour on occasion, but once you get to the tellers they are predominantly rude, particularly developing an attitude with you if you do not speak the local language despite their using English in all of their marketing and advertising; unprofessional to the point where one of them gave my bank details to another customer and had to run after the customer to get them back on one occasion. The cashiers are power hungry and arbitrarily refuse basic services such as providing a receipt for the transaction you have just made with them. One was so adamant she wouldn't give me a receipt for my transaction that she made me and all those in the lengthy queue behind wait ten minutes for her to press a button and stamp a piece of paper just because she could. She didn't care about the extending line at all, she was high on her power trip. It truly beggars belief. And unsurprisingly, in those circumstances, none of them wear name badges to identify themselves and their bad behaviour. I did take a photo of her if management is interested. Standard Chartered you need to do a better job of picking and training your cashiers. There are plenty of unemployed people, graduates even, who would jump at a chance of getting a foot into a professional setting. Customers shouldn't have to deal with the grumpy, incompetent, power tripping cashiers at this branch. Interestingly the management and couple of staff based in the side offices that I have had interaction with, have been really friendly, helpful and super professional, so this really appears to be a cashier attitude problem.
