We couldn't find what we were looking for and when we enquired from a Staff member he was not sure either so we looked around for a while and gave up.Then we went to the Deli section to get cold meats and there were 3 Staff members standing together chatting and despite several attempts to get their attention, we stood there for a good 2 to 3 minutes. When we finally yelled loud enough, a lady came to us and you could clearly see that she's angry because we had to call her. She didn't greet and I still greeted her but she didn't respond.We got the cold meat but then decided it's all not worth it so we just left it on a shelf and walked out

Store itself isn’t bad. Let me not say much about the the employees because that’s just the usual story. Most just don’t like their jobs I guess.What frustrates me most though is their 60Six delivery. Every order they manage to mess something up. I order normal mushrooms, they bring dried mushrooms, I order one specific brand and size of beer, they bring some other brand and size. Sometime they don’t even care to look what they are grabbing and you end up with rotten stuff. This service does not make sense. It’s a matter of time before some other grocery service takes over the market because they know how to do the job better.

Be very careful when buying the pre-packaged hot foods in the hot foods little stand alone counter. We bought curry & rice and the curry mince was off, like really bad off ! And the staff at the hot foods counter are all but friendly, like they're doing you a huge favor serving you. And the queues are always too long - really frustrating! This Checkers has really become complacent and need a serious re-check on their staff & operation.

Won't be shopping here in a hurry again. Bought a man size steak only to come home and open the packaging and find the most foul smelling meat. The person I spoke to in the meat section of the store assured me that she will call me back in a few minutes after she spoke to her boss but I've yet to hear back. A major outlet like Checkers should have some level of quality control but sadly they dont, I've had similar problems with other Checkers branches also with meat, cheese and eggs. Absolutely shocking.

Always unnecessary queues at this branch. Tellers are very slow and staff members do not acknowledge customers, they are often chatting to each other without even greeting the client who’s right in front of the till.

The retail was refurbished, extended, it has a variety of departments with well stocked of items. Ready made food from burgers to pap and meant, fish and chips . Money market, liquor store

It is a large supermarket with a diversity of products. There are normal check-outs and express ones for upto 10 items. I found everything I needed and orientation was easy. Additional to groceries there are also household goods. It is the largest supermarket in the Sandton City mall.

I love checkersHowever I found it very unpleasant that sandton store is so busy yet so many tills were not attending to customers. When I got to the till I was told they were closed but they took 2 customer immediately after I left.This is such poor and unpleasant customer serviceTeller 18 at 6pm on sat 20 May
