One of the most useless and unhelpful stores I have been in. Such a disappointing experience in the waterfront. Staff more interested in joking around and lounging on stands than helping customers. 15 minutes before I could get assistance from staff and I had to look for someone to help only to be told they can't help, I should try a different branch. Being in the maritime industry, I used to rely on Cape Union for their brands but would rather take my business elsewhere- I suggest you do too unless you have the time to waste. This has happened 3 days in a row so wasn't just a bad day"."

I worked at Cape Union Mart for 6 months so far, it was the most frustrating place cause almost every month there will be a issue with my salary, either them not giving my money for the days worked or calculating incorrectly, their services in the retail sector is good but how they support their employees is pathetic.

Brilliant store, terrible staff. I see others also have complaints about the service and I can confirm. They are delayed in attending to customers and then on top of that, they are slow too. EDIT: the staff occasionally rotate to the store inside the mall. Some of the staff are extremely helpful. It's a specific category of people. Well, 2 of the 3 I encountered were distasteful in their approach. I'm updating to 3 stars because of the nice dude and the good customer service in general.
