We were only in Durban one night, and it was important to us to have some of the delicious, authentic Indian food that the city is known for. We researched a number of different restaurants, and this one fit the bill in every category. The Rocket Masala Dosai with sambar, tomato, and coconut chutneys was fantastic, and the Broadbean Bunny Chow with a side of shredded carrot salad was equally so. All of the flavors were so incredibly authentic that it made my Indian food resonator go off! We sat on the balcony enjoying our beer and wine after the meal and loved the whole experience from start to finish.

Beautiful set up, friendly staff however I didn't enjoy the food as much (vegan meal) as I do at other Indian restaurants. It's just my taste buds and I know many like the food here however for me, it wasn't so grand.

Good for nothing option only taste variety of dishes none is up to the mark as a south Indian I advise not to try south indian dishes

So it was my son's graduation on Monday nite my aunt suggested little India on musgrave road to celebrate since they are open on Mondays and made reservations for us Their service was excellent the food was authentic Indian style food that was well prepared and flavorsome and they went the extra mile of making my son's graduation a memorable one We will definitely be Goin back to little India on musgrave and highly recommend it

Paneer and soji was really good but the rest of it was bland. We had changed our minds about the meal to order and were told the system doesn't work that way(to cancel an order placed 2 min ago, before they started preparing it). After some back and forth they did allow us to change our order but the mood was a tad annoyed afterwards from our waitress(i think this was an isolated incident and generally the staff were great) . With that being said we really didn't have a problem with anything else, they had put up a birthday sign and some balloons and allowed us to decorate a little more. They adjusted table size for us and were able to put up another small table for gifts. All in all not a bad place if you like Indian food.

Allround excellent tasting food. Visited on the 13.1.23 and loved the whole south indian vibe. Great meal options as well. However very dissappointed with the tali option. Only 2 curries on the thali that is worth eating. They served potatoe curry, paneer chutney, dhall, russom, sourmilk and soji on the veg thali. SO they need to improve on that. My son had the machuran and my daughter had the paneer breyani. Both were delicious. The waitress could also be a bit more friendly and accommodating.

The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was 5 star. As you can see the waitress was helping wash my hands. She was great. I highly recommend the Little India.
