My mom and I went for coffee and cake at the sparrow. We just loved the cake. Amazing and friendly owner and staff. Loved the garden and the beautiful set up.

Lovely garden if you get a seat outside, and pleasant enough indoors. My scrambled egg breakfast was okay at R86 but the iced coffee at R36 was a hugely disappointing thin, bland, brown liquid. It had no body to it. No rich creaminess. And very little taste. One of my companions had a scone @R55 which looked nice. I saw a board about books/reading as we were leaving which looked like a great idea - leave a book/take a book. Sit there and read a book. Kudos on what looks like it could be a good initiative

Service was excellent, my cuppucino arrived within a few minutes. We enjoyed a delicious saucy beef hamburger with potato wedges & a fresh mixed salad with olive and feta. We also had the chicken kebabs in a tasty sauce with tomatoes & a fresh salad with yellow & red cocktail tomato, olives, feta & promeganates. Nicely presentef.

The food came very fast even though the power had just gone off.We ordered 2 x omlettes with salad and extra Sour Dough toasted bread.The food was nicely presented and tasted amazing.The cold drinks we ordered were cold and came with lots of Ice in the glass. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to the next one.

A stunning indigenous garden setting. Food very good value for money and beautifully presented. Waitress and owner very friendly and helpful. Definitely warrants further visits
