Wouldn't recommend Linda's cakes at all.. Had a VERY bad incident today with my husband's birthday cake. Cost me R750 after a confirmed design via text and email, only to find out the day of collection and party it was completely different to what I ordered. I was robbed!!! quoted on an intricate detail cake and received a rectangular cake that quite frankly anyone could make. Minimal details, zero effort, clumsy finish that should have costed half the initial quote. I queried how the initial design vs what i received matches up and was told you get nothing back or changed deal with it! For me it's not about the money its the principle that i ordered something, Linda ran into trouble making it and did not give me the option to decide the way forward! She merely decided what she wanted to do and surprised me with a standard rectangle cake after i paid her in full! The response when queried was appalling. Zero customer service and acknowledgment to her mistake of asking me the paying customer how to proceed!Would NOT recommend you buy any cakes from here. Unprofessional, unethical, no integrity, customer focus and all about the money. Cakes are not what you agree or pay for.Tons of other bakers in Midrand suggest you look elsewhere.
