The service is great, their accounts department's harassment is the reason for only 2 stars.UPDATE...I emailed proof of payment early this morning before complaining directly to your staff about the harassment. And long before adding this review. Your response has made me review my initial mistake of awarding 2 stars.And BTW 4 requests" in less than 14 hours after getting the invoice is harassment in my book.2ND UPDATE...In response to this honest review

I paid them 50% deposit. They haven't fixed my pool and they are not responding to my text or telephone for 2 weeks now. This company is a scam. Please don't use them.

Incredible Service , Knowledgeable & Honest , great prices with a friendly attitude. After contact Cameron was at my house in 30mins to do an honest assessment and quoted on some upgrade options with no call out fee , job was done and completed a day later and follow up service was impeccable. I would HIGHLY recommend

Many thank Cameron and team for great service. The sand filter was replaced during load shedding, so it was not possible to check the seals. Once power was back I found some small leaks. I informed Cameron on Friday and the team was back Saturday and fixed everything. No additional call out charges! I will use these guys again! Thank you!

They don't honour their work. More importantly they don't honour their word. Will definitely not be using them again.

Cameron and his team from North Side Pool services are certainly enthusiastic, but unfortunately are just not skilled in pool renovation. Do not use them!! They simply do not have the skills they claim to have. The work they did on my pool had to be completely redone and it was found that they had not correctly bonded the new marbelite to the old. They left the old tiles under the marbelite making the problem worse. The tiling was shockingly messy and skew, largely because they did not prepare the surfaces for tiling. They cut the tiles on my pool coping leaving gouges in it. And the application of the marbelite was rough and sloppy. On asking why, I was told not worry as the water and the kreepy would smooth it out. Truly appalling workmanship.

I would not recommend anyone to use North Side Pool Services. I am actually amazed they are even still advertising and operating their business. In fact, I'm amazed they're still in business. Our experience with them has been one of the worst with any supplier or contractor ever!I had been very kindly given Cameron Hayne's number from The Pool Team in Norwood (lovely guys, very helpful) to assist me with servicing my client's pool on the 12th floor of a multi-million rand penthouse in one of the most prestigious addresses in Sandhurst. The pool was in a serious state and needed some rather serious attention - I was told that Cameron and his team would be able to assist me and when I phoned him, Cameron was incredibly convincing and sounded super professional. We set a date to meet at the property to discuss and quote on the job. We were quoted R4100,00 to do the job and paid a deposit of R2870,00.He then arrived a few days later with his team, who were not dressed in any professional manner and did not seem to be carrying any pride in their work. Cameron himself was not dressed professionally either. They got to work, only to flood the drainage system, causing water to gush down the building and into the apartments below. We quickly ceased the operation and I gave the instruction to pump the excess water back into the pool so as not to cause any further damage. We decided that once the drains had been looked at, he would come back and complete the work. In the meantime, he would refund our deposit. Long story short, we have not seen a cent of our deposit returned, even after him reasoning that he is entitled to keep the deposit and return to us R180,00 and the sealed chemicals that were supposedly purchased for the job - where does nearly R3000,00 go if you were here for 15 minutes, caused what would have become a highly dangerous outcome and left in supposed good faith" that you would retuen the full deposit? We disagreed with this and asked if we could sit down and negotiate in a professional manner
