Car Service City - Fourways

Less than a year ago I took my wife’s car to get her car services and asked them to test the battery because we suspected that the battery was due to be replaced. Her battery was subsequently swopped out with another battery and it was reported that the battery indeed needed to be replaced. I did not make a scene about this because we were planning on getting the battery replaced to ensure she does not get stuck due to battery problems.I then requested a quote telephonically for my Bmw for a service and was given a price. I then requested a quote to have my complete front suspension redone in order to have a breakdown off how much that would cost so I can know ignorance it is worth taking out a motor plan. Less than 5-days later I personally went to the branch to arrange for my car to be booked in for a service and to replace my stabilizer links and the price of the links now increased which I could not understand. Despite the stated, I accepted the new price and quote for the service.I then dropped my car off as required before 8 in the morning it was booked for. Approximately 1-hour later, I received a text informing that they cannot find my locknut key which I am certain I placed in my boot. Tried to explain to them where in the boot it is situated but they reportedly could not find it.As a result I needed to there myself, to look for it and also could not find it which does not make sense because I vividly recall where I placed it 2-weeks earlier at the tire fitments centre when the fitter handed it to me in my hand. As a result, I had to buy a new locknut set.

Great service from the team all round... from front desk to the actual service team and mechanics. They have a large customer base so ETA's may vary but they usually do their best to keep you informed. My only gripe is my car returned with a headlamp error notification which I can't wipe but I'm sure when I go to get it checked properly they'll assist. I'd recommend.

Definitely never taking my car here again . I was supposed to do a major service and they didn’t even do a major service and they couldn’t change my plugs because they said it needed platinum plugs Which was supposed to be included in the major service I paid 3k for them just changing my oils then they Quote me 16k for small things on my car that’s was not a problem ..I asked them to check my brakes they didn’t do that which was important they didn’t even tell anything about that

They cannot even get a quote right the first time after I had to wait plus minus 3 hours for the quote and had to contact them to find out where the quote is and then it was wrong. Besides that William Hunt is actually cheaper for the same and they are a dealer. So how can I trust them with a cambelt service if they cannot even quote correctly

These people are crooks!!!! Stay away!!! Booked a service knowing there are other problems but just wanted the service for now. They then came back with different stories. He car drives worse now than before I took it and they quoted me R45600 to work on the car!!The car is now worse, can’t drive more than 40km/ph, gears skip every 2seconds. No power. Yesterday the car drove perfectly fine and this morning when dropping it off.STAY AWAY FROM CAR CITY FOURWAYS BRANCH!!!!

Great experience! Starting with Precious at the front desk who also did the pre_inspection, to Gabs who did the service and post_briefing. When I collected the car, they took 20 minutes to open the hood and show me exactly everything they did. I was kept informed throughout by the wonderful and warm Precious. Thanks guys! Wonderful customer service indeed!!

Friendly people - however a week after my services I break down. Manager doesn't call back for hours. Funny that the break down was something from the inspection (in fix report). Manager insist that they only done a visual inspection... of a Ball bearing? Upon repairs the new Mach reveals that red grease was added to the Ball Bearings which makes clear that the manager was dishonest. I could have been in a serious accident. never had a break down before doing a major service at this place. First Time using them and I don't think I would go back.

They arrange a ride home and pickup later with Bolt drivers which is very convenient. No waiting around. Communication during the day was good, with quotes on extra work or repairs. The only thing that stopped them getting 5 stars was the fact that near closing time, I had to call them twice to find out what was happening. Was afraid they would close with my car inside. But all was fine. Was picked up 15 minutes before close.

Tried calling to book an appointment to service my car .The lady on the phone told me she would call back because a client walked in .Such terrible reviews and client service.
