Bought some eclairs to enjoy tonight with tea. Big mistake.... the cream was sour and smelled disgusting. Shame on you Spar. Will definitely not be supporting your bakery again.....

I love their chocolate fresh cream swissroll, they are the only Spar that makes it like this (I haven't seen another Spar make it). Also they fully halal which is a major bonus. And it helps that they are on my way home.

Apart from your normal groceries around Obz and surrounding Saltriver, the best place to get ready made salads with alot of choices to choose from. From you normal greek salad to brocoli salad and many more. Groot Schuur Spar is a place I choose to buy my salads and always freshly made every day.

Clean, good selection. A Small parking space but parking is free. Might be a bit of a tight squeeze for larger vehicles. This place gets busy at the end of the day, around 5pm. The best time to shop is just after midday when it's a bit quieter. Cellphone repair and accessories available near the entrance.

Big ups to the hot foods ladies who works so fast, amid inconsiderate and impatient customers complaining to get through the lunch time rush. I never have to ask for hot chips, it always comes straight out of the fryer.
