Welgevonden Guest House
A beautiful little BnB walking distance from Boplaas, Krans and Calitzdorp Cellars. The hostess is friendly and kind and the rooms are small but comfortable and clean. A delicious and wholesome breakfast is included. Enjoy a swim in the pool on a hot summers day or cozy up in the common area on a cold winters night with a local bottle of wine or world famous Port. This is the place to stay.

Thank you Briette & Reenen. We enjoyed our overnight stay and had a peaceful sleep. I wish we could have stayed longer as your garden is so lovely & we would have sat under your beautiful tree most of the day. Your rusks were such a special touch, thank you. Oh and we won’t forget to mention your beautiful dog who we so enjoyed having lying next to us as we sat on the veranda. Thank you once again.

This is a super place to stay when doing the meerkat experience. The welcome could not be warmer, breakfast was superb and the rooms quaint. Andre is a super host, charming, amusing and wickedly funny.

A professional and friendly reception. The stay was super comfortable, including good coffee in the breakfast room. Excellent local knowledge, which resulted in a super dinner at Die Bakhuis, only 300m away. During loadshedding nogal!

Beautiful place. Spent a lovely evening there, enjoying the view, atmosphere and venue. Briette & her husband are excellent hosts. They went the extra mile to make us feel at home and served a delicious welcome coffee & chocolate brownies.The scrumptious breakfast, served on the patio was beautifully plated. We recommend the place and will return.We met lovely people in Calizdorp.
