Lovely to drive through the park and take in the harsh beauty of the landscapes. Such a variety of vegetation. The succulent garden is also worth a visit. The staff is very friendly.

I camped here for the night. Facilities are okay but clean. Camping areas are also a tad rough but again clean.The reserve is rather pretty but on the small side.Perfect for those looking to spend a night camping on the way to Namibia or the northern Cape.

Being a mere 15min drive from Springbok this is a great park to come see flowers in the season. Beautifully maintained with place to stay and camp. You can do 4x4 drives or hiking trails. We did the 6km hiking trail (there is a 4km trail as well) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The trails are very well marked and the path is clear to follow. Beautiful scenery especially in flower season! Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Bring cash, no card facilities!

A little too early for the massed spring flowers, only a few but enjoyed the drive through the Tourist Route with the wonderful rock formations. Also had a delicious boerrie roosterbrood from the kiosk.

Beautiful nature reserve featuring a diverse ecosystem with a good variety of fauna and flora to see. The facilities are excellent and very reasonably priced. Staff is kind, helpful, and competent. 10/10 would visit again.

Wonderful place from which to see the flowers in August/September. The campsite is well run, with clean facilities, safe and beautiful!

Wow! What an experience. Definitely recommend driving through it. There is one route for normal vehicles that still take you into the Park and then some 4x4 routes for the more adventurous.

Surely one of South Africa’s top Nature Reserves! The well kept hiking trails are a wonderful way to discover and enjoy the exquisite plant life of this region. Have been at Goegap may times, but it will never be enough!

Even outside of the flower season you get a very good impression of the unique landscape and vegetation of Namaqualand.Unfortunately, without a 4x4 vehicle, you will miss out on the largest and most beautiful part of the reserve. The wild animals, which are unfortunately quite shy, can also be found here - we saw springbok, orxy, ostrich and mountain zebra.The lady at the entrance was very friendly and, as 4x4 beginners, gave us very accurate advice on the difficulty levels of the routes offered. The use of the 4x4 routes is not included in the admission price of 30 rand pp.
