Great food, good service, Amerigo and Agnes were fantastic! Just one thing I'd like to mention, red wine prices are rather expensive! Should try for a house wine at lower cost!

I was at Harties with my family & extended family & after a day of site-seeing, etc we decided to have lunch at this establishment, it is an open outdoor-ish type restaurant. We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 1 teen and 3 kids). We ordered 1 meat platter and 1 seafood platter and the food arrived pretty quickly and tasted alright. There was a 1 man live band that was playing guitar & singing portuguese music in the background for entertainment, the place was rather quiet for a saturday afternoon so i felt kind of bad for the guy singing his heart out for like 10 people. In summary I don't know about the people i was with but my whole experience at this place was average (nothing to complain about and nothing impressed me either).

Atmosphere is great. You feel like you are in a beach bar.The waiters are LOVELY.The wait time for the food is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW.The food flavors vary between really good and mediocre minus.I ordered the prawn curry and it was barely edible.All other plates were quite good.The wings should have been amazing. The lemon one was amazing. The peri peri one was ok-ish.The bread served was not freshly heated and felt old (not saying it was...but it wasn't crisp)

The service is VERY poor and the food is even worse. Starters were cold and tastless, meat was badly done and a bit rancid. Chips were oily and limp and there was cross contamination with seafood and meats as i got squidheads in my chips. Not one plate was finished yet they chose to charge us full price. I feel cheated.DO NOT EAT THERE !

Really good food. Service was a bit slow, we waited quite a while before we got our food and our waiter didn't check up on our table much. There was live music which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The worse experience ever, after waiting nearly an hour for the food it finally arrived but everything was cold ...that after my son order a beer that came in a filthy glass ..yess filthy with things floating in the beer , honestly thats when we should have walked out ..oh and I will attach a photo of my salad . The couple next to us walked out after not receiving food for over an hour.UPDATE: After consulting the manager about our issues, he was extremely accommodating and made it his mission to insure we got the service and food we were expecting. Food was delicious and well prepared- pity about the start of our afternoon but big thanks to Americo the manager for doing his best to make it up to us.

Love this restaurant. Fantastic setting. Food is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Beef trinchado is divine.
