Not sure how others are rating this company so highly. If I could give zero I would. It has been almost 6 months and the transfer has not yet been done. We received no updates from them on the transfer the entire process and had to keep calling to find out what was going on. They also kept changing their story about why it is taking so long and can't give clear answers. Extremely unprofessional and clearly don't know what they're doing. Find someone else to do your transfer.

Always received good advice and service from this company. They are very helpful and doing the work in good time. Will recommend them to anyone.

A property sold to a cash buyer took 2 months just to get lodged. Van Zyl Retief Inc only started working on the file 16 days after having received instruction. We were then asked questions of which all the answers were already on the documents submitted, as if the information required had not been supplied.UGU district municipality owed us money for having charged us for water usage by estimation. The water to the property was not even connected, and the meter was still on zero. We did inform the estate agent and the lawyers, yet they simply paid the wrongful charges to the municipality deducting it from our money. We have e-mailed twice in an attempt to get this sorted out, but Van Zyl Retief Inc is still completely unresponsive..One gets the impression that the company might be understaffed. The seemingly very professional paralegal conveyancer's office was flooded with heaps of files just waiting for her to get to.On the upside, the money was paid into our account immediately upon registration. Pity about the 3 weeks it took just to get to our file...

Would definately recommend them for any transfers of properties etc ...their service was outstanding!they have a team of very skilled ,fast and efficient staff that speed up the process of property transfers !

If i could rate it zero stars I would ... worst and most unethically handled transfer of property... so disappointed I'm willing to not go through with purchase. Highly recommend to use another firm.
