Great stat off the beaten track. Jürgen and Nina are great hosts, very responsive and made us feel at home. The site is cut off from the world and allows guests to really disconnect. We went on a walk into the surrounding hills, and were taken away by the beauty.

It's three weeks since my wife and I stayed in the Orange Cottage and the memory of the quiet, spacious stillness is like an oasis in my mind.We swam in the lake and in the reservoir, did some lovely walks and enjoyed sitting round the fire in the evenings.I also left my wallet and Ninon and Jurgen couldn't have been more helpful in sorting it out. One of our all time favourite spots... We have been coming here for years and each time fall in love again and again with the absolutely breathtaking tranquility of this place. Circa 40min drive from Montagu and circa 2.5h from Cape Town, this is a hikers paradise, with lots of routes taking you in some of the most spectacular sceneries ever... Fresh water from the stream where you can also dip... No internet here and no electricity, but that is the great thing about it. In the cottages there is gas for cooking, fridge and geyser so you won't miss the comforts. The place is spotless and run by the most amazing couple. Bring your books, hiking shoes and you'll love it.
