Am absolutely horrified at the condition of my 2x 1kg bags of soft citrus bought yesterday afternoon on R10 Tuesday. Managed to only save 3 from one bag and 4 from the other bag. The rest are off (soft, squishy and smelly). Secondly nobody could give me the free wifi code advertised for me to order bolt until a trolley guy outside had it and gave to the staff who had been asking each other for it. Poor service.

Clean and tidy store. Could use a little help in service delivery but otherwise you would do well navigating yourself around the shelves. Also I'm not sure why but the fish section would also do better if staff knew the difference between yellow tail and hake. I was charged for 3.5kgs hake (yellowtail) , 4kgs hake and 6kgs silver fish. I questioned why the yellowtail was charged as hake which was more exspensive and nobody bothered following up even after waiting 30 minutes in the fish counter que. Eventually I had to drag a staff member by her attitude to the fish counter to speed up processing the proper fish type . I was then charged an additional kg for what heaven alone knows. So now I'm charged more for a cheaper fish type. Thanks for wasting almost an hour by your staff incompetency and not a single apology . Not sure of you guys realise who pays your salary. Clearly not the person or people that employed you. The fish is fresh and well priced anyway so will always return unfortunately service won't be at the top of my grocery list.

Why is this place overrated? My wife wanted to check for cooking bananas and ended up buying coconuts. All four of them had gone off and had to be thrown away.If something like this happens once, I guess it's acceptable, but the last time, it was a couple of eggs from the 18 I bought that were just aged to almost having a chick in.The only thing here is the range of things you can choose from in this store; at least something...

Not my first time here. I was 5 years ago here. This place really changed a lot. Very nice and clean. Products are fresh and spacious. Lot of quality products. Had a very bad experience here. Professional thieves and muggers are plenty. The security staff stands by the entrance and exit. Not walking around inside the store. My phone was mugged while shopping, luckily for me I noticed it immediately. One of the staff members also noticed what happened. My phone was returned. Please be careful.

We bought so much meat here. Chicken and schnitzel. All of it was off my family member bought pork and chicken 2 weeks before that also all off. Will never shop here again which is so sad as I always found the cashiers very friendly and professional. But the amount of money wasted and poor animals dying for no reason only to be discarded in the bin. Wouldn't even feed my dogs that with the terrible smell that was given off.

Flm. Thank you for making it easy to live a healthier life. I am a weekly shopper now and am very happy.Maybe you can work on the q at the fish dept... there's always a line.. I would buy fish if I can get served quicker... now I just pass ... overall rating 12 out of 10. Thank you..

The service was amazing, the staff go above and beyond to answer questions and the variety and quality of the produce and meat sold is excellent. I love shopping at N1 food lover's.Very disappointed went again today and bought the 3 for R120 cheese got home and the cheese is mouldy. Won't be going back to this branch.
