Such a lovely dinner at Lava. The tapas were delicious and the ambience is simply amazing. The gnocchi was a bit stodgy for my liking and the sauce was really runny. The burger tho well plated just lacked a bit of seasoning on the meat. Otherwise, the cream brulee was amazing, smooth and silky texture which just melts in your mouth. We were celebrating a special occasion and I'm so happy that they were able to make the night even more special ✨️ Definitely will be coming back

I loved being here because they are amazing views take your time to come and view well dining especially for a breakfast. Cookie helped us with the reservation and encouraged us to take the table close to the window. It was a choice that would send us to cloud 9. Don served us us with breakfast and we made it clear that we did not take pork.He advised that he would consult with the chef and either substitute pork for chicken or mushrooms. Behold the breakfast came with chicken and the eggs done just the way we like them. Don was amazing. When you come to this place ask for Don.Everything was warm from the plates to the food just the seasoning was just perfect and the smoothie not too sweet. Just nice and clean. Music was at the perfect volume and we did not have to shout nor repeat ourselves while engaging in discourse.It was definitely a good place to be out of home but yet with that home feeling and that home filling. It's good to be full without being fool.Special mention to Zinhle (not the DJ) who was there to provide us with the WiFi password and entlighten on the beautiful playlist.It's a perfect place for a date, perfect place for business consolidation and meeting, perfect place for the family, perfect place to be alone and far from everyone (and yet not lonely).This place can be full at times and making a reservation hedges against overbooking.

What a great experience! We usually eat at Hussar or Cafe del Sol but decided to try Lava- we're so glad we did. The food, service and ambiance were superb, and the view amazing! The owner, Greg, is hands-on, which makes a big difference!

They are on to something really good here. A great mix of clean elegant lines in the decor, awesome views from the tables next to the full length windows; good food, and professional and friendly hospitality. Had their cheese burger which was awesome, the patties were juicy and flavoured just right. Enjoyed the mango smoothie too.

Wonderful to have such a place open in this area. The owner always comes to greet us and the staff are impeccably trained. The food is something on another level. There's always an interesting combination of flavours, topped off with greens and fruits. Their alcohol selection is probably one of the most extensive I've seen. The decor is out of this world classy abd beats a lot of the other restaurants in the area.

It is easily deceiving to think that you walking into quite a luxourious resturant but the people are warm and welcoming my first impression of thought to the customers satisfaction there are many options a relaxing brunch or fine dining, all really versatile in this well established restaurantThen the food and desert, out of this world… you will again be persuaded that price and quality don’t match but value and distinctiveness take precedence here … well thought we’ll constructed meals that will make you come back for more and more for sure i am going to come here again and won’t get board of this vibe ! late 90s music and friendliness is also just enough for me to return over and over again !!!

Food - great! Waiter - very sweet and super attentive. Lovely setting and a beautiful view.I do think the maître d' had an off day as she didn't seem pleased that we preferred not to be seated directly beside the only other occupied window table, but that was the only negative. The rest was absolutely lovely, we'll definitely be back.

Loved the cosy environment, staff friendly and the food is impeccable. Best place I've been too so far, it's a hidden gem. You enjoy a quite dinner with ample space, unlike other restaurants where you sit right next to each other.
