Ghastly service today. We had 3 different staff members who could not answer basic queries about a water dispenser, particularly about the replacement filter and frequency of replacement. One staff member even pointed out the incorrect product for a replacement filter. And when we pointed this out he asked a fourth person over the phone for help, this person wanted to answer my queries over the phone without bothering to meet in person or even seeing the product. Really shocking and poor customer experience. Disappointed in you Makro Cornubia. I'll buy my water dispenser elsewhere!

Terrible experience. We drove over 30 minutes to purchase a smart speaker which, although their website said they had in stock they didn’t. They had a demo unit which we HAD to buy at full price. Once we got home we realized they didn’t pack in the power supply. After numerous calls and promises I drove through to pickup the power supply only to be told they cannot find it. So after driving 2 hours, waisting a considerable amount of time and petrol I am left with nothing but a really bad experience. I don’t know what’s happening to this country but client service is almost nonexistent. It’s one thing to embrace technology but make sure it works. Rather phone for stock than trust their website has to say.

Plenty of stock, clean and tidy, friendly staff, very spacious, plenty of parking and fantastic specials! Every shopper's dream! Even the auto guards are very helpful. Two thumbs up! Well done everyone - you deserve a pat on the back!!

Prefer Cornubia to Springfield purely because it’s closer to where I live and it’s easier to get to. The trade entrance to the bottle store is a winner. Only disappointment was the microwave I wanted to buy last night with the price at R1299, when I got to the till it was R1399. Went back to the shelf and a the more expensive one was on the shelf with the cheap price and the cheap one out of stock. Take the PI strip price off if that one is out of stock so you don't waste client's time.

They allow customers to purchased goods with their loyalty cards number even if they have forgotten their loyalty card and if you don't remember/know your loyalty card number you can visit customer service desk

Set away from the buzz - an easy drive from the busy - Umhlanga Gateway precinct. Ample parking space (work-in-progress solar covered). Mug And Bean on premises - Friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious shopping experience. They could do with extra cashier staff as my limited lunchtime wait in the queue left little to be desired. Went there the second time around and found what I was looking for. Still to be discovered by many and I can only imagine the weekends being busier than the lunchtime weekday rush. The one thing I didn’t miss - which to me is a welcomed relief, was the absence of hysters disrupting my shopping experience.

This store has changed. I took an item to returns and the box had a 2 year warranty. They would not accept it saying it has physical damage. The item has to be touched how else is it going to be used. So basically I paid R699 for a 1 year and 4 months use. Their procedure is not of benefit to the consumer. The fact that I brought the item back says that the product is made from cheap and inferior materials.

Congratulations on the new store. Layout is modern, clean and easy to get through. Locating Mugg n Bean right at the entrance is a masterpiece. One can walk in sit and plan over a cup of coffee. Great stuff.
